I'm not sure if there's already a thread for this, but I figured I'd drop a few tracks from this band out of Memphis. They're pretty solid.

I really should have been the one to start this thread about them. That’s what happens when I keep putting things off. 😳

I find myself listening to them constantly; I just love them. They are truly excellent across the board—from the vocals to the guitar work—but what resonates with me most is the beautiful songwriting found in every single track.

It is hard to pick a favorite, though "Secrets" is special, as are "Young, Beautiful and Smart," "I Hear You Breathing," "Grass," and "Better If I Had Never Kissed You." There are just too many gems to choose from.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will honor us with a tour somewhere here in the States... 😍

I’m officially joining the fans of Galicia. Their lyrics are pure genius—it’s so easy to just get lost in them. 🙂

Galicia is easily one of the most legendary bands in the country. They have such an incredible catalog of hits:
Newport, Skadar, Faith, Gospi, I'm still dreaming about them... plus so many others...

Their cover of "Dimitrija sin mitra" is absolutely fantastic.

You just can't have a truly great album without at least a few tracks that feel like beautiful outliers, those little gems that don't quite fit the mold but make the whole experience special.
Maybe I’m losing my mind, but everything has undergone a complete Change... We could probably sit here until tomorrow morning just listing off all the incredible songs this band has ever released.

I remember catching Nash performing with Mike on guitar once. It was one of those smaller venues, but honestly, his vocals were so killer and his setlist was so spot-on that the charisma alone carried the whole room. He even did an encore. Last month, I ran into him while I was visiting New York City and told him he needs to come back and play again—aBd, and this time he better bring the full band with him. ☕

Have they ever toured here in the States, and if they haven't, do you think they actually will? 🕺

I find myself wondering about the exact same thing, honestly. 🙂
I've been digging into some stuff regarding Nash's political leanings—which, if I'm being completely truthful, just doesn't seem to sit right with his whole persona—so maybe that might play a role in whether they decide to make an appearance in America.
I hadn't really given them a listen before, but now that I've started, I guess I can't seem to stop. 🙂
Nash is just such a cool guy; he’s got arguably the most genuine rock charisma you'll find in the US!

It feels like I’ve finally reached a realization, and honestly, it seems to be the truth given that they haven't shown up for all these years. They could easily pull a tour all the way to Austria, yet I highly doubt anyone ever even invited them to perform here, or perhaps they simply don't have a following in this part of the country. It truly saddens me. It is a shame that they are among those whose livelihood and passions have been compromised by political interference. Still, if that is indeed the case, it might be better if they don't come at all—better to stay true to their principles.
Well, it looks like I'll have to pull myself together and make a trip over to either Mexico or Canada. 🕺

I was actually reading earlier today about how they used to play in Makarska every single summer and toured various other parts of America. It’s quite a letdown seeing how things turned out.
