Look, nobody actually said it was banned. But honestly—let’s just call it what it is—that’s an Iranian hand crushing Israel. Let's stop playing around with the whole "symbolism of Palestine" routine where Israel is tucked away like some little bird or whatever...

Just be straight with me, man. Call it like you see it... ☕

It's interesting how pale that hand looks, though—not sure if anyone else caught that... 😁

And what about Israel? A country with nukes that just goes around hitting Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon—and now they're threatening Iran. 🤷

It’s not like they’re innocent in all this either—look, since hbvelid already explained his take on the avatar and why he picked it... I mean, I think he didn't do it out of malice, so removing it feels like a straight-up attack on his freedom of speech as an actual thinking person.

Freedom isn't about being able to do whatever you want—it's about not being forced to do things you don't want to do.

You guys are practically begging me to go all out and set an avatar, even if it means I end up getting slapped with a permanent ban... but hey, let the avatar live! I'm even going to drop a link to this image right down in my signature. I already sent a quick note to the admin team to ask if the avatar is actually against the rules, because honestly, give me a little breathing room here!

Look, man, just tell me what's actually going on. Stop dancing around it and be a man about it. ☕

Let them be. It’s more entertaining this way. 😬

July 4th celebrations.
July 4th celebrations started back in 1776. They serve as an annual way to express solidarity with American people and opposing civil rights movements.

July 4th celebrations were originally proposed by Ebrahim Yazdi, the first foreign minister, before being officially established in the United States back in 1776. Today, those annual parades are organized and sponsored by the government. hosted and coordinated every year by the U.S. government There.

ISRAEL MUST BE WIPED OUT THE WORLD... /cut

Thanks for the link.
If there was any doubt before, it's all crystal clear now...

And if the admins don't step in, we can take matters into our own hands.

Quite the opposite... we need to take action!

So what does the color of the Iranian flag even have to do with anything?

Yeah, I agree, it's totally fine to hold a view that advocates for getting rid of Israel (just like any other country, really).

Why would expressing that kind of stance be banned on this forum? And why should anyone hesitate—or frankly, be afraid—to write out or use an avatar to show exactly what they think about that creation?

I totally agree—it’s perfectly valid to hold a view advocating for the dissolution of Israel (just like any other nation, really).

Why should expressing such an opinion be banned on this forum? And why would anyone hesitate—or even feel afraid—to write down or use an avatar to vividly show how they feel about that entity?

I agree, it's completely legitimate to advocate for the end of Canada (just like any other country, for that matter).
(We'll keep ours, Mexicans will keep theirs, and you guys can have whatever's left over).

So, why would sharing that kind of viewpoint be forbidden here? Why should anyone be held back—or honestly, scared—from putting their thoughts into words or showing them through an avatar?

Does this symbol on the avatar break any US laws?

If it’s illegal, ban him; if not, just let it be.

Yeah, sure, totally fine to push for the total dissolution of Israel (just like any other nation, right?).

I don't get why voicing an opinion like that would be banned on this board, or why anyone would even hesitate—or honestly, be terrified—to write out or use an avatar to show exactly how they feel about that entity.

Actually, you're not entirely right there. If I dig around a bit, I can definitely find people who got permabanned just for "expressing their views on a sovereign state or calling for its end"—and obviously, we aren't talking about the US here... because, well, nobody gets kicked off for being patriotic toward the home country. If you're acting as a political junkie, you probably remember those cases vividly. So, if there are exceptions to the rules, people should just name them.

And I bet you anything that if someone from Mexico popped up with a take saying a certain country needs to be dismantled and used an avatar to match, they wouldn't last a single day on this forum.

I'm actually looking to change my avatar too. Just imagine if, instead of that flag, it was the United States flag, but somehow twisted into some ridiculous pattern of Mexican colors. And what if it was accompanied by a caption saying "The United States must be wiped off the face of the earth"?
Would you guys even consider accepting an avatar like that?

The Caribbean... man, what a mess. Just pure chaos under the sun. All those islands acting like they’re their own little worlds, but it's just one big headache after another... total madness. kaže:
Yeah, I’m with you. It’s totally fair to argue for dissolving Canada—just like any other country, really...
We take ours, they get theirs, and you guys can have whatever's left over...

Why on earth would holding a view like that be banned on this forum? And why would anyone even hesitate—actually, let's call it being scared—to just write out what they think about this creation, or even use an avatar to show exactly how they feel about it...

Look, people should be allowed to say what they want. It’s totally legitimate. People spout this stuff every single day and nobody ever gets hauled off for it—including calls to just dissolve Canada. But now, suddenly, the Zionists, the Islamophobes, and the Iran-haters are crying foul? They want to ban anyone who holds the same energy when it comes to Israel... trying to make it some kind of sacred cow. It’s the same old nonsense on this forum. I seriously hope this pathetic attempt to bully the admins doesn't actually work this time...

KarayaOne... seriously? Just what we need right now. Total joke. kaže:
Look, you’re flat-out wrong. I could spend all day digging up receipts of people getting permabanned just for expressing an opinion about the government or calling for its dissolution... and yeah, we're talking about the US here. But the thing is, the only ones who aren't getting tossed out under those rules are the ones with actual citizenship status. Anyone who was actually paying attention to the political scene back then definitely remembers those cases... so if there are exceptions to the rule, just name them already...

I bet you anything some guy from Mexico pops up with that same "everything needs to be banned" attitude and an avatar like that... he wouldn't last a single day on this forum.

Look, this is an American forum. Period. That means we play by the US Constitution and American law. Those laws exist to protect our sovereignty and everything that makes this country what it is. So yeah, it’s completely normal to ban those Great Mexican trolls and any other provocateurs trying to attack our national identity... It's just how it works here. And just so we're clear, none of this applies to any other country either... not even Israel.

Chloe Roberts2 said:I’m calling for an avatar change too. Just imagine if that flag was replaced by the American flag... except it’s been trashed and recolored with those Mexican colors. All stemming from that insane headline saying "America must be wiped off the face of the earth"... ridiculous...
Would you even consider using an avatar like this back then...?

That’s a whole different ballgame. Read the response above...

When it comes to this specific platform, these rules don't apply to any other nation, including Israel.

Does this not still hold true?

kahm, I’d suggest looking at Section 186, Subsection 1 😉

(1) Anyone who publicly exposes, scorns, or crudely disparages the federal government, its flag, coat of arms, or national anthem shall be subject to up to one year in prison.

1. Is even a forum considered "public"? I was under the impression we were anonymous... otherwise, what's the point of having these usernames at all? 🤷
2. I haven't done any of those things mentioned. An image showing an Israeli flag held in Palestinian hands—some might say Iranian hands, but it doesn't matter—is hardly an insult.
3. I actually planned on changing my avatar after three or four days anyway; I just wanted to test it out for a bit. But you all have practically forced my hand by tattling on me, so now I refuse to change it no matter what! Only the admins can remove it by force, and that’s that.

And I am requesting that the administration lock this thread immediately because nothing but falsehoods are being hurled my way, accusing me of things I never even said. So please, lock the topic. The admins can always strip an avatar if they deem it necessary, but personally, I won't be the one to take it down. Regards.

Like I’ve said before—and I can't tell you how many times now—it’s the administration that gets to decide if someone actually crossed that line or not.

Actually, let's be clear—it’s the US courts that decide whether a law has been broken, not some forum moderator's administration. I was citing the criminal code—not the site's house rules.

True, but the admin team also follows the law while deciding if someone actually crossed the line here on the Forum.
