So, usually, there’s been this weird one-hour gap between when a logged-out user sees a post timestamp versus when someone actually logged in. It was just a minor quirk, nothing major. But lately—I swear it was either yesterday or the day before—I noticed that gap has suddenly ballooned to like, three hours. 😲Anyone have any clue what's going on with that? Is there some logic behind this sudden glitch?

It seemed perfectly reasonable to me until recently... instead of moving the clock forward, they actually set it back 🤣

Like at 2:00 AM, they reverted it to 1:00 AM rather than jumping ahead to 3:00 AM 😬

There's nothing to fix. At least not right now—during Daylight Saving Time, the forum stays stuck on "EST" all year round regardless. The only solution is for everyone to just adjust their own settings...

First I saw my timestamp from the edit looking totally fine, then suddenly it jumped back by 3 hours. Just my luck, right?

The damn clock on this site is totally out of sync between the live view and when you're logged out. Everything looks fine while I'm active, but as soon as I log off, the time jumps ahead an hour like it’s playing games with me. It's honestly super confusing.
Why hasn't anyone bothered to fix this glitch yet?

Just stay logged in while you're browsing the forum and it should show up correctly.

It’s pretty obvious one of the admins needs to go into the backend and fix those settings—I'll pass the word along...

Oh, great, thanks for the "answer." Honestly, it’s just stupid when someone hops on to read stuff and sees posts timestamped in the future. 🤣

If every other clock in the country is synced up, why can't this site manage it? It shouldn't be this much of a headache. 🤷

You aren't the first or the last to try this, Zweistein. As for how successful those requests actually are—the site admins love nothing more. The last person before you managed to request "solved, lock the thread"... and they didn't just lock the thread, they deleted it entirely.
