MLS Ultras
After US Soccer decided to roll out this voucher system for away fans, the core leadership of the MLS Ultras held a meeting along with most of our local chapters. And look, we've made our call—the MLS Ultras aren't playing ball with this new ticket sales scheme.
Every single soccer fan in America needs to understand that this whole setup has absolutely nothing to do with fighting "hooliganism" or whatever excuse they want to use. If someone is actually facing legal trouble or a court order in the US, they’re already banned from the stadium by the judicial system—they have to check in with the cops and everything. Those people can't get in regardless of what US Soccer decides, so this new rule is just... well, it's pointless.
What we're really looking at here is a blatant attempt to silence any kind of pushback from organized supporter groups and true fans who refuse to let the suits in US Soccer treat American soccer like their own private piggy bank. They want to take those empty seats at the Rose Bowl and replicate that emptiness at every other stadium in the country, just so they don't have to hear anyone shouting about how corrupt their leadership is.
These guys don't want soccer to be a game for the people; they want it to be their personal money factory. In their eyes, the fans are just unnecessary overhead, and anyone who disagrees is labeled an enemy of the state. It’s insulting, honestly—especially when you consider that while these bureaucrats were playing soccer abroad or posing for photos in uniforms, our friends on the terraces were literally risking their lives for this country.
If we just swallow this decision, a Los Angeles FC fan traveling from Cincinnati, Chicago, or Seattle will find it easier to get approved for a mortgage at a major bank than to actually buy a ticket to see their team play in their own city. Do they seriously think supporter groups are just a bunch of slackers who can just decide three days in advance whether they feel like going to a match after filling out all their paperwork? Or maybe they just don't give a damn about us...
We aren't sweating the loss of anonymity—we stopped trying to hide in the crowd a long time ago. We are standing up against a ticketing system that basically gives the police and the clubs a "get out of jail free" card to block any fan from buying a ticket for no legitimate reason. It's a total black box; there's zero oversight, and a fan has absolutely no way to challenge a decision if the cops or a club decide to shut them out.
This whole nonsensical idea shouldn't even surprise us, given that we live in a society where there's basically zero civilian oversight over the police.
But unlike everyone else, fans are actually willing to fight for what they believe in. We aren't just going to sit there and take hit after hit. If American society doesn't know how to take to the streets to fight injustice—if we just sit around feeling sorry for ourselves while watching European cities where unions and students actually fight for their rights—then well, the fans know. We aren't ready to just roll over. We won't.
So, we’re calling on all Los Angeles FC supporters to head out from every corner of the country this Sunday to Memorial Stadium for the match against the local side. Show up solo, show up unorganized, go WITHOUT any gear, and just show this trash at US Soccer that we are done with their bans. You can't stop us from showing up, and you sure as hell can't stop us from coming to Chicago!
This war you've declared against the fans is only going to unite us to ensure your downfall. We're setting aside the usual club rivalries for now. If we can stand shoulder-to-shoulder during US National Team matches, believe me, we can do it today. We'll stand together today to tear you down and kick you out of American soccer once and for all.
AGAINST THE DARKNESS, AGAINST THE FORCE!

If any MLS Ultras need a lift in Chicago or a ride over to Memorial Stadium in a car with NYC plates, hit my PMs. I live on the outskirts, so it's easy to swing by and drop the car off. You can even route it to avoid the Harbor area if you want.

Just a heads-up, guys—last time we headed out to the Rose Bowl, we barely managed to dodge a trip to the ER. We tried taking the bypass, but there were tons of undercover cops patrolling everywhere. Before we knew it, we had an escort handed over to some anti-terrorist unit that was clearly getting way too much of a kick out of their jobs. They blocked the whole road, tossed our van and the car, ran breathalyzers on everyone, gave us hell, threw out provocations, and even hauled a few people off to jail...
Anyway, I’ve got a bad feeling they’re going to pull out every dirty trick in the book tomorrow just to cause more chaos. Honestly, it might actually be part of the setup; everyone expected those vouchers to get rejected anyway. Good luck out there tomorrow, stay sharp and don't let them get to you!

Is this a paid service, or is Laura Mitchell87 just being generous?

🤣
But seriously, I have to give credit where it's due—kudos to Bauer. Though, I suppose after a post like this, your neighborhood might end up under some pretty heavy Police surveillance.

But seriously, huge props to Bauer. Though after posting this, you better watch your back—the Police might be camping out in your neighborhood.
"A well-known Real Madrid fan posted on Facebook ahead of Liverpool FC's Sunday away game in Washington, D.C. against the US Army:
"If any NFL Ultras need a hand in D.C. or a ride over to Madison Square Garden in an NYC-plated car, just shoot me a DM. I live on the edge of town, easy to find, and I can leave the car there. You can even swing by to avoid the Harbor."

Smart move, guys.
Just stay clear of any drama involving the Police.
Try to be a step ahead of them.

We'll give it our best shot—though achieving that might prove to be quite the uphill battle. 🙂

Not a chance. They’re basically programmed; they don't have a clue what's actually going on.
Just pure, unadulterated Liverpool FC energy.
A total whiteout rebellion.
And what am I even doing here? This is practically going to become a police slogan at this rate.

I’m cheaper than Came. 😁

Don't give the police any reason to talk to you.
Stay one step ahead of them.
You gotta watch yourself when you hit the stadium, too. The issue is Madison Square Garden sits right in territory controlled by people who are way too cozy with Jerry Jones.
Last year, anyone who crossed John Doe ended up getting reported for "insulting the police" just because we were singing some trash lyrics. They went out of their way to film the six of us singing.
My offer still stands.

Jesse Campbell said:One should probably be careful when entering the stadium, I suppose. The issue is that Tony Hawk is operating in what is essentially the Netherlands, and they have a rather slippery relationship with Jerry Jones.
Last year, those of us who crossed John Smith ended up facing charges for insulting the police (we were singing "Pile of crap"). They went through quite a lot of effort just to film the six of us singing.
My offer remains on the table.
Well done.

Streets are totally blocked off, SWAT teams everywhere, feels like a total lockdown... Honestly, I couldn't tell if there was even a game going on or if they were just rounding up every criminal in the country...

Whatever. The confusion is all in his head...

It’s been the same story at Madison Square Garden for the last two or three years... nothing really changes...

It’s a total fairy tale.
I honestly can't wrap my head around how this evening actually unfolded. 🙂
