World Championship Qualifiers: Round 1

Looks like Frank Hayes71 snagged the win for the first round with 8 hits—honestly, given how everyone else played, that’s pretty damn impressive. Congrats to him. Moving on to round 2, which I'll post shortly.

You messed up the count... I’m sitting at 6 out of 10 myself... missed Finland, France, America, and Spain... Adam King6 is actually up at 7 out of 10

Also, it’s currently 7.
I honestly thought the Frenchman might settle for a draw here, but looking at the board, it just doesn't seem like it's going to happen...

edit: actually, if my math is right, Adam King6 is sitting at 9.

I felt like someone was calling my name, so I had to check in...
To be fair, I actually nailed seven of them. I completely missed the biggest upsets, though—I called a win for the French and the Spaniards, plus that tie we had against the Canadians.

How on earth can you claim a score of 7 when you've already missed 3? 🤣

Honestly, props to everyone—we definitely got hit with three massive upsets: those draws against France and Spain at home, plus that loss on the road for Team USA... But hey, we keep moving until someone finally hits a perfect 12 for 12. Round two is looking promising, though—on paper, at least—because a few of the matchups I picked for this Sunday look like total cakewalks. :-)

Basic math, buddy. 10 minus 3 equals 7. 🙂

The real issue is that the initial assumption—that we were actually picking 10 pairs correctly—wasn't exactly spot on to begin with. 🙈

It’s more like 8 out of 12, not 6 out of 10.😁
