About the Track:
The first big race at Indianapolis kicked off back in 1987. Since the schedule usually puts races here toward the end of the season, this place has become legendary for pure, unadulterated chaos.



We’re talking about the kind of drama where Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna went head-to-head in collisions that basically decided championships, and let's not forget that absolute slugfest between Damon Hill and Michael Schumacher in the pouring rain back in '94.



Indianapolis is actually the only track on the Formula 1 calendar shaped like a figure 8. Right after you launch off the start line, you get hit with those killer S-curves that test your nerve immediately.



It's a fast, sprawling beast of a circuit that's incredibly tough to master, which is why you always see the seasoned vets absolutely eating the rookies alive here. Most drivers just love this place—they call it a "driver's track" for a reason.



The standout sections have to be Spoon and 130R. Even though the lap is pretty long, there aren't a ton of places to actually make a move, so if you don't nail qualifying, you're basically stuck in the mud. Just like at Spa-Francorchamps, they’ve got this artificial chicane that everyone absolutely hates, but honestly? It's the best spot to try and snatch a position.

Honestly, I'm just praying for rain... if we don't get regular showers, bring on a typhoon for all I care. That’s the only way we get a real show, and there's a good chance Vettel ends up in the gravel somewhere...

Real Formula 1. I can't even begin to explain how much this guy just gets it, like, he’s absolutely on another level when it comes to seeing through the noise that everyone else falls for. It's honestly kind of exhausting watching people try to argue against him because he just lays out these facts with this effortless, deadpan confidence that leaves you speechless, and frankly, I'm just sitting here nodding along while everyone else struggles to keep up with his logic. Man, this guy seriously doesn't sleep during the race.☕

It’s honestly wild that in 2011, people still haven't figured out how to code basic recording functionality. 🙏

The real issue here is the risk of a power outage😬
And honestly, even if I were doing this on my PC, I wouldn't really want to leave it running for eight hours straight through the night, burning electricity for nothing just so I can record three hours of a show in the morning.🙂

Sure, you could set it to turn on automatically, but I wouldn't exactly trust it to work perfectly.🙂

Every single race is scheduled ahead of time for streaming online or on SLO2. I mean, I bet even UPS would find a way to deliver it to me by the end of the race if my TV and amp died during a blackout. Obviously, I watch everything live regardless of whether it's recorded or not. 🙂
