Vettel has managed to edge ahead once again, but Button is breathing down his neck. If the weather stays clear and those stars align for a dry track, the sheer pace shown by McLaren suggests we are in for a spectacular race tomorrow.
It seems Massa is starting to consistently outpace Alonso. One has to wonder: is Ferrari simply incapable of breaking into the top four during qualifying sessions?
As for Webber, he is performing exactly as expected; he always demonstrates the true strength of Red Bull during the race and will likely fight tooth and nail for a spot on the podium.

What on earth happened with Rosberg? Schumacher looks absolutely brilliant in 7th, whereas where would Rosberg have landed if he hadn't faltered? Perhaps a position or two right there alongside him?

He told the BBC that he ran into some hydraulic issues, and since those things are such a nightmare to fix, they just didn't have enough time to get it sorted before he could even attempt a decent lap in the first session. He finally rolled out of the garage, but he couldn't even complete a single lap before they had to haul him straight back into the pits.

Honestly, they run races at Indianapolis so often that there isn't really a massive difference between starting from the even or odd sides of the grid.

It’s the same old story, isn't it? If only Hamilton hadn't played his games right at the start and accidentally ended up catching Button in the gravel trap instead.

I’m personally expecting Alonso to be sitting pretty in third place by the very first turn; in my estimation, he possesses a far superior launch than even the magnificent German ruler of today's F1, Sebastian Vettel.

Deda really is the "boss" when it comes to Hamilton! 🙂
How could he even try it against him? When dealing with the legendary Schumacher, there is absolutely no room for games; after all, he remains a living institution within F1. 🤣

Who are we even talking about here? Lewis and his "dangerous" driving style.
It honestly feels like he wasn't nearly as concerned about pulling away from Button as he
was focused on trying to slow down Webber and Schumacher just enough so they wouldn't catch him on the final lap.
But it looks like he ran into the wrong crowd...
What was that, some new model of anti-radiation goggles or something?

It’s going to be quite interesting to see just how good Vettel really is this time around, especially since we finally have such balanced cars on the grid this year. Personally, I think Hamilton is the clear favorite to take the win, with Button right on his heels in second.

I'm really expecting Deda to jump out of the gates and hold at least 3rd place after the start..☕

Good morning. Looks like nothing's changed in F1—Vettel is back on pole again. I guess don't even bother thinking about anyone else winning besides him.

Btw. In Q3, it's just Ferrari, Red Bull, and McLaren fighting for it again. Pretty sad, really.
