This isn't about guesswork. I have to operate under the assumption that among our regular members, guests, and contributors, there are gay individuals. It is my responsibility to protect them, just like any other group that might be represented here on the forum. Mariana Petir, however, is a public figure. She has the resources to defend herself in the media if she needs to, and she certainly has the platform to strike back. If she decides to register on this forum, she’ll receive the same protections as everyone else. Actually, I’d go a step further—I have a deep respect for anyone who chooses to show up here using their real name.

So, if I’m following this correctly—and I might be overthinking things here—it sounds like these guys are basically insulating themselves through censorship... you know, by blocking scientific data from being released, messing with statistics, and even banning people from quoting their own published work... did I actually catch the gist of that? ☕
