We recently celebrated at a Marriott with a private party for all the mods and admins. It was a blast (good food, drinks, and some wilder moments... but I can't get too specific!) 👍
Plus, we even handed out moderator bonuses for handling bans and cleaning up posts 👍

Honestly, nothing at all. They could have at least posted something on Reddit to give us a heads-up. 🤷 I mean, let’s be real here—we all know exactly which kids aren't getting a birthday party thrown for them. 😬 Honestly, I really stepped in it this time—it’s a massive oversight on my part not to remember an anniversary like this for Reddit.
By the way, I’ve noticed that posts are being deleted on this thread too. They were all perfectly on topic, just some harmless little commentary about the server tucked into a larger post. It really makes you wonder about the whole moderation process and whether any of these rules actually serve a purpose, though I suppose we’re all just sitting around waiting for someone to swoop in with that classic line, "well, the debate is over."

I'm still rocking my old Reddit black T-shirt that I got at my very first moderator bash. Only downside is I definitely don't fit into it anymore—unless I want to look like a total disaster! 😬

What would you even do? Ten days with Reddit completely offline? I guess I'd probably just stare at my phone waiting for something to happen, haha. Maybe I'd actually try being productive, though I doubt it would last long.

As far as my old bones can remember, this year marks a decade since our servers crashed and the Fed stepped in to bail us out.😬
