The thing is, Maloca has a very specific contract situation going on. He decided to take a gamble by playing for $36,000 when he could have easily banked somewhere between $100,000 and $150,000 per season—without any strings attached. Right now, he’s pulling in $36,000 a year, which is practically pocket change for a player with a market value of $3.5 million according to Transfermarkt. He’s securing that money while guys like Vejic are at $400,000, and Jertec and Buljat are sitting at $400,000 or $350,000—who knows exactly how much—all in exchange for getting 30 percent of his transfer fee. I mean, if things go south, he gets nothing and ends up stuck with a four-year deal totaling $150,000; he could have walked away with a guaranteed $600,000. Instead, he took a solid $144,000, and everything else depends on how he actually performs. Given that he’ll likely move for at least $3 million, he’ll pocket $900,000, which means over four years with the Kansas City Chiefs, he’ll have earned about $1,044,000—roughly $250,000 per season—while bringing $2.1 million into the club's coffers. Considering this was all signed during the era of Jertec, Buljat, Vejic, Cernat, and the rest of that crew, it’s honestly a massive win for us.

Maloca might never be a world-class superstar, but he’s a class act—which is a refreshing change from most of the people in the stands or out on the pitch. Even when there was that whole mess regarding people being "forced into labor" at Dinamo, Maloca handled it all with what I suppose you'd call a "European" sensibility. Real captain material.

amberscout47 said:Wait, does someone actually believe that the Kansas City Chiefs lost out on a million euros just because Radosic didn't want to move over to Liverpool FC? 🤣 Are you kidding me? A whole million dollars?! I mean, seriously, can we just take a second to wrap our heads around that kind of money?

Well, looks like we've got a little bit of everything going on here, doesn't it? 😂

You know, I really think Maloca is a class act. Now, I haven't actually met him personally, but I hear nothing but good things from people who have, and even George Gonzalez is saying the exact same thing about him. If nothing else, the guy has been part of the squad for five or six years now, and he always shows such incredible respect for the jersey; he’s playing for relatively modest wages and you never hear him whining about money or demanding a transfer to some big-money club. I can't recall hearing any stories about him getting into trouble or having issues with drinking, either. Just recently, he actually turned down an offer from Dinamo because he explained that since he’s the captain of the Kansas City Chiefs, he simply wouldn't dream of moving to a rival like that. Honestly, wouldn't we all love to have more dummies like him in our lives?

When you look at those transfer percentages, you have to realize that the players didn't just sit down and decide to give themselves those numbers, right? Someone sat across the table from them and offered that specific contract. It isn't really about the current Management, either. We are all still just reaping the consequences of decisions made by previous administrations, aren't we? Vukusic still holds his piece, Milić has his 10%, and Maloca has his share too. If we were to throw in even more percentages like that, wouldn't we just be repeating the exact same mistakes all over again?

I mean, really, why wouldn't this be the truth? When you step back and look at how everything is unfolding, doesn't it just seem like the most logical conclusion to reach? 🙂🙂 Can you give me just one good reason why?
Honestly, I really think Maloca is playing such a fantastic game lately, don't you? $10 Are we really talking about just a few thousand dollars a month here? Because if we're looking at a contract worth 200,000 euros, how many games would he actually need to play to make that kind of money? 🙂🙂🙂 So, once that transfer actually goes through, we’re looking at a valuation of around $3.5 million, which honestly feels like an insane amount of money, doesn't it? But hey, that's just the business of football, I suppose. If you do the math and figure out what 40 percent of that $3.5 million looks like, you're sitting at roughly $1.5 million. When you divide that by the salary he's been pulling in all this time, you're talking about $750,000, plus another $50,000 every single year on top of that. It's wild to think that he’s actually more expensive than Cernat—God, what a dummy! You have someone like Maloca bringing in $1.5 million for the Kansas City Chiefs, yet here you are telling me he's playing for just a few thousand bucks? 🙂🙂What kind of ridiculous circus is happening on this forum again? Honestly, I feel like we should just wipe the slate clean and delete everything because I am completely fed up with Maloca and Radosic. Between the two of them, they’re going to drain about 2.5 million dollars from us, so why don't we just skip straight to the part where they get banned before we suffer an even bigger financial hit? What are we even waiting for at this point?

This is the Ultras thread, yet we’ve already burned through three pages talking about the Kansas City Chiefs—so I figured I’d weigh in too.😁
I’ve already posted this elsewhere, so some of you might have seen it...

Whether the offer from Liverpool FC actually landed is anyone's guess, but even if it did, I suspect the club would just pass on it.
The issue is the work visa situation—young players who haven't hit that 75% national team appearance threshold over the last two years can wait a month, maybe more, and still have zero guarantee they'll actually get it. The club simply can't afford to sit around taking that kind of risk.

It’s basically a case of a bird in the hand...

Just my two cents...🤷

Honestly, Maloca is just playing out of his mind right now—seriously such a beast on the pitch. $10 Monthly? Man, that’s not even talking about a couple thousand bucks—we're on a whole different level here. Like, seriously, how many games would he actually have to play to pull in 200,000 dollars??!! 🙂🙂🙂 And once that transfer actually hits, we're looking at a $3.5 million valuation—which, let's be real, is an absolutely insane number—but hey, that’s just the business of football. So, if you do the math on 40% of $3.5 million, you're sitting at roughly $1.5 million. Now, when you factor in the salary he's been pulling the whole time, you've got $750,000 plus another $50,000 every single year. Honestly, he's costing more than Cernat—God, what a dummy. You've got guys like Maloca bringing in $1.5 million for the Kansas City Chiefs, yet here you are telling me he's playing for peanuts! 🙂🙂What kind of circus of idiots is happening on this forum again? Seriously, I feel like we just need to wipe the whole slate clean—I am so done with Maloca and Radosic. Those two are gonna walk away with $2.5 million of our money combined, so why even bother waiting around for another massive blowout to hit our stats? Let's just pull the plug now.

Man, if only we had Trebotic’s knack for keeping the books balanced—and actually seeing that same kind of magic on the field like we did back when Radosic and Maloca were running the show.

The management at the New Hajduk needs to be nothing more than seven Chinese men sitting in some underground bunker 200 feet below sea level—that’s the only way they'll make decisions, apparently. It’s like all of the Kansas City Chiefs' business is supposed to happen in some parallel dimension that none of us actual fans can even touch. Honestly, give me a break! If things stay this disconnected, you can't blame anyone for listening to some guy who's just repeating whatever story he was fed by his buddy.

Jose Kern11, come on—give me a name! Seriously, who is your actual source, first and last name, for this story about Radosic turning down that $4 million offer from Liverpool FC? And what exactly was on the table from them? Look, if you’re gonna go out on a limb like this to trash a guy publicly, the least you can do is stop hiding behind your "anonymous sources."

Everyone thinks they’re an expert—everyone’s got some "insider" tip or a wild conspiracy theory they’re dying to share. It’s always something, right? But then, the second something actually hits the headlines in the papers, everyone suddenly loses their nerve. They act all shocked that the Kansas City Chiefs can pull things off—as if we couldn't have seen it coming! Like, sorry for not knowing what the news was going to report before it actually happened? Give me a break.

Honestly, what bugs me more than him actually turning down an offer is just how some irrelevant little nobody even got into a position to know what kind of bids were coming in for Radosic in the first place. It’s wild. And don't even get me started on that cowardly little snitch—you know the one, who's always whispering to Jose Kern11 or playing spy in coffee shops about everything happening at the club. If someone like that was actually an important player who should be speaking up and standing against these moves (if they're even happening), they'd be buried in a bunker before they could even finish their sentence.

P.S.
Look, I know this thread is technically for the Ultras, and maybe this kind of venting isn't exactly what it was built for—but seriously, just take a second to look in the mirror and ask if you're actually helping the club or just tearing it down. It honestly feels like we haven't had a single decent player in twenty years. Either they’re clueless, or if they actually have some talent, they’re suddenly "arrogant jerks" who are supposedly blackmailing the front office. I don't get it—who actually benefits from this? Who wins? Half the stuff being whispered about these players is either straight-up made up or blown way out of proportion by people looking for clicks. Honestly, between us fans and the vultures over at TMZ or CNN, we’ve become the ultimate neighborhood gossips. There isn't a single flaw left unexamined—people will nitpick everything from whether a guy drinks, if he's "unprofessional," if he's playing hardball with management, or even if he eats too much junk food or wears the wrong clothes. They’ll even attribute fake quotes to them just to stir the pot or claim they follow some weird lifestyle. I swear, in the last ten years, has there been a single Kansas City Chiefs player who hasn't had someone trying to ruin their life over some tiny, manufactured imperfection?
Before you guys start—or keep—tearing these players to shreds, just remember they’re part of the Kansas City Chiefs family just as much as we are. It’s a two-way street, you know? You can't have one without the other. These guys need us in their corner, not hanging around like dead weight. If nobody in the squad is good enough for us, then I guess we should just go recruit 200 little dummies from a local preschool, ship them off to some boarding school for "fan training," and hope we can finally manufacture some real Kansas City Chiefs fans. Honestly, though—I’d love to see if you lot could even agree on what those kids should look like.

So, you spend all this time fighting against how the big shots over at the stadium run things, yet the second you get a chance, you act exactly like them.
You treat the Kansas City Chiefs players like cattle being driven into a pen.

Do these players even have 1% of a say in their own lives or their own careers?

I honestly think it would be decent if someone actually asked for their input for once.🤷

Kevin Nelson3 @ Regarding Trebotic, there was actually an offer from Turin for over a million after the EL, but now he’s being let go for basically nothing—actually, he's being practically given away despite having a contract that is 100% with the Kansas City Chiefs, which just leaves us all crying like Maloca. The main thing seems to be making sure he gets booed because he’s part of the current regime, while they spend all their time praising Maloca (with that 60/40 split), Ibricic (that massive suck-up), and Gabrić (honestly, what can you even say about that empty head?) by treating them like saints and handing them the heart of the club and the captain's armband. Don't even get me started on Dinko again, or people will tell me my opinion is just subjective, when in reality, it’s an objective truth since he's the only one who actually knows anything, regardless of how much the newspapers spin things differently; yet, you all keep reading those rags and following reporters like Alfirevic and Reic. I am genuinely convinced that half the people here who despise those two pathetic journalists probably believe Dinko attacked Napastasic just because those two or some loser from the Free Press wrote it. It is pure absurdity, and I don't want to talk about it anymore because I've had enough of Dinko's time at Lokomotiva.

I originally wrote this regarding Radosic because I am honestly fed up with being blackmailed every single second instead of just being able to tell the whole story to everyone via mobile, which would be eighty times easier than writing it all out. The most controversial part of this entire situation is that once everything was finalized, Maloca requested 10% for his brother on someone's orders. That simply isn't right, and it shouldn't be happening. You clearly don't understand this, do you? This isn't about causing harm to the Kansas City Chiefs; if anything, doing this could actually do some good by ensuring no one ever tries to blackmail the club again. Why don't you read the first part of Maradona's book, *I Am Diego*? Once you do, you'll see the immense respect he had for the core of the Boca Juniors fans, and even though he was Maradona, he wouldn't have dreamt of doing something like what this Radosic is doing to us. Let me know once you've read it, because I can't bring myself to write about this anymore; it makes me sick. And am I really supposed to just write out this guy's full name for you? Are you out of your mind?

So Dinko is supposed to be our savior, while Maloca is just a dummy trying to hold the club hostage 🙏
Even though, if we're looking at the numbers, he brings in at least 5 to 10 times more value to the club than Dinko does, both financially and on the pitch

Jose Kern11 said:And yeah, I’m definitely not about to just drop some guy's full name right here—are you crazy?

Look, you see the point I'm making. You’ve got your version of the truth regarding Trebotic and Radosic, the 'Nerazzurri' fans have their own, and I’ve got mine. All three versions look totally different—so why on earth do you assume yours is the one "true" story? Why is your info suddenly gospel while everyone else is just wrong? It’s only natural that I’d ask for the actual name of the person feeding you all this stuff.
I mean, should we really trust some random fifth wheel just because they pop up on a forum claiming someone at the Kansas City Chiefs did this or that, based on some "source" they claim to have?

If you aren't willing (whether it's you, me, or anyone else) to say exactly who gave you this intel and who can actually vouch for its accuracy, then honestly, don't post it publicly. Just keep it to yourself and move on.
I'll say it again: the real problem for the Kansas City Chiefs isn't even the news itself, it's this "source" of yours—someone who whispers everything in your ear but doesn't have the guts to go public with these massive accusations and "truths." How am I supposed to read that guy? He's either some corporate shill taking the path of least resistance to stay on the good side of whoever pays his bills, or he's just making stuff up to stir the pot at the club. There is no third option. 🤷

There really isn't a third option. 🤷

Look, I am one hundred percent certain about what I know because everything has proven true so far, and this will be no different. And let me be clear, the person telling me this isn't some club lackey; in fact, I wrote this specifically to go against what this individual told me—and now he's actually mad at me because of it! I'm writing this solely because it's become completely unacceptable for anyone to hold the club hostage like this, especially when we're still staring down the barrel of bankruptcy if things don't change. Let's just get this transfer sorted out first, and then we'll see how things truly unfold.

I mean, Maloca is actually playing quite well for... $10 We aren't talking about just a few thousand dollars a month here—let's be real. I mean, how many seasons would he actually have to play to hit that 200,000 euro mark? 🙂🙂🙂 So, once this transfer actually goes through, we’re looking at a valuation of roughly $3.5 million—which, let’s be honest, is an absolutely insane figure. But hey, that’s just the business of football, I guess. If you do the math—and you really should—40 percent of $3.5 million comes out to about $1.4 million. When you factor in the salary that Management keeps pushing through, you're looking at $750,000, plus an extra $50,000 every single year. At this rate, he's actually more expensive than Cernat—God, what a dummy. You have one guy like Maloca walking away with $1.5 million from the Kansas City Chiefs, yet here you are, trying to tell me he's playing for peanuts. 🙂🙂What kind of circus of fools is happening on this forum again? Honestly, I feel like we should just wipe the whole thing clean—I’ve had my fill of Maloca and Radosic. Between the two of them, they’re going to bleed us for 2.5 million dollars, so maybe we should just jump straight to a total ban before we suffer an even bigger financial hit.

Look, when Maloca was signing his contract, there shouldn't have been any issue with him earning $150,000 per season—honestly. I mean, if we were paying Cernat $400,000, or handing out $400,000 to Verpakovskis and Sablica the year before, or even giving Vejic $400,000 while Hrvoje spends every single day claiming he’s "saving" the Kansas City Chiefs... well, you get the idea. Even Zivkovic was pulling in something similar at some point. So, yeah—Maloca signs. That’s a pretty tiny contract. I suppose I should probably say something here—if there’s actually anything worth discussing. The circumstances at that time—well, looking back, things were just different. He’s putting a massive amount of money on the line here. Just imagine—if he breaks a leg right after signing that contract and he's pulling in $150,000 a year, we're looking at $400,000 total. He could basically set himself up for life, maybe grind out a few more seasons at some mid-tier club in the US second division, and call it a career. He’s the one taking the gamble, and if he ends up profiting from it, I guess that’s just how the game works when you look at it from his perspective. Honestly, I don't know what kind of lowlife you have to be to be shouting about him getting a percentage now—especially since there was no formal contract when he signed and he risked everything. If anyone deserves to pocket $250,000 to $300,000 a season, it’s him. It’s his talent that earned it, and he’s the one who's actually going to bring revenue to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Just so we’re clear on the numbers—Vukusic was pulling in maybe a few dozen thousand dollars a year, with absolutely zero percentage of any transfers. Meanwhile, Svagusa has an agreement with SOS that puts him at $150,000 annually plus a 30% cut of every transfer. If that isn't criminal, I don't know what is.

George Gonzalez said:Look, back when Maloca was signing his deal, he could have easily walked away with 150k a season...

The thread itself is kind of to blame for this whole debate—honestly, after this, I’m done talking about it; but seriously, there is no way Maloca was pulling in 150k euros. He wasn't. Since he was a homegrown player, neither Kalinić, nor Strinić, nor any of our academy kids were seeing those kinds of numbers. That kind of cash was reserved for the guys being brought in from overseas.
If you actually think Maloca would've turned down 100-150k back three or four seasons ago—especially when he was starting every preseason as the fifth-choice center-back—you're dreaming. The real issue with the Kansas City Chiefs is how they've spent years lowballing and exploiting local talent just because those kids signed their first pro contract with the club. Take Kalinić—he was playing for 36k, and nobody even thought to offer him 150k (even if we're comparing him to Rodić or Bartolović), even after he finished a season as the top scorer. Instead, they tried to shove a new contract in his face halfway through the season before his old one even expired. Obviously, nobody’s going to bite on that, no matter how much they love the Chiefs. It’s the exact same story with Maloca. There’s zero chance he’s signing a 100k-a-year deal now and giving up his entire percentage share. If someone had offered him that three years ago? He would've said yes in a heartbeat. The problem is, we didn't have—do we even have them now?—the right people making the calls three years ago to realize Maloca was worth more and that we'd make that money back later. Let's just hope we don't pull the same stunt with Caktaš, Milić, or Andrijašević.

Anyway, there's no point dragging this out on the Black Knights forums—this isn't really a fan culture thing, it's business. 🤷

Let me just weigh in on this one point.
He’s been a staple in the first team for basically his entire career—sure, he might step out for a game here and there, but if you look at the last four years, he’s always been right there in the thick of it. I mean, it isn't like he could just demand $150,000 the second he walked through the door, but he could have easily signed a deal starting at $35,000, with a clause triggering a jump to $100,000 after twenty appearances, or maybe even $150,000 after fifty. That kind of structure is pretty standard practice in professional sports, I guess.
