Gary Green32 said:So you're claiming to be a huge patriot? And let me guess, a devout Catholic too?

Then start working on American unity as an American and show some Christian forgiveness, instead of just looking for a fight.

You clearly missed the point of the poem. I was talking about that sign in the photo—those people who sent Anthony that message need to be dealt with heavily. Am I an American? Yes. Am I "great"? Not really.

Can I offer a suggestion from an outside perspective?
Is there any way we can actually start educating the "average" fans? I’m mostly talking about the folks over in the East Stand.
Maybe we could print some small flyers? Something to warn people that booing any Red Sox player is completely unacceptable. Or maybe just stay at the stadium for five damn minutes longer to give the players a round of applause? We need to stop obsessing over immediate results and finally start looking at the long-term vision.

It is truly unbelievable to me. We pull off four wins, then we hit one single draw, and suddenly everyone is booing every misplaced pass or tearing into these 18-year-olds on the field. For God's sake, does anyone here actually grasp how much that messes with a player's head? It is fundamentally counterproductive. Can we please, just once, let common sense prevail?

It seems what truly rubbed people the wrong way wasn't a lack of loyalty, per se... personally, I’ve never claimed to be some kind of superstar, but I found myself losing my patience watching that sluggish, aimless wandering across the pitch. If you aren't playing at your best, then fine, but for heaven's sake, run, fight, show some grit... It’s honestly quite disheartening to see that Stojanovic, who is one of those players seemingly detached from the core effort, is actually the one diving into duels with the most intensity.

Yes, I find myself quite preoccupied by the same thought regarding Mišo; one can't help but wonder what sort of influence he exerts over them, given how we seem to stumble through every single national team appearance right after his involvement. 🤷
