I say we just implement a new rule: let Fernando Alonso start his race two hours before everyone else, clock his time, and slot him into the standings based on that. Then maybeβ€”just maybeβ€”the conspiracy theorists will finally run out of things to say.

Don't talk nonsense. At least Fernando Alonso is known for being a clean driver. What happened here was just a racing incidentβ€”the kind of thing that happens all the time on tracks with long straights and relatively fast opening corners.

Raymond Anderson4 said:We really need to see the onboard footage from Kimiev's car... that's the only way to know for sure what actually happened.

That'll confirm it, but this won't? Is it not obvious what happened in this clip? You can see it perfectly clearly in the first five seconds.

Oh yeah, it’s absolutely hilarious watching all these haters crawl out of their caves at last... lol...

You guys spent three years wandering through the desert, and now you’re suddenly jumping down everyone's throat the second there's even a hint that Alonso might have made a tiny mistake....

Lol....

I honestly don't think this is just about haters being loud; it feels more like we're seeing a dedicated group of Alonso fans at work.
They seem hell-bent on proving that Kimi was solely responsible for the incident, making sure everyone knows that Alonso doesn't have
even a shred of blame in the matter.
If someone had just stepped up early in the discussion and pointed out that this was nothing more than a standard racing incidentβ€”the kind of thing you see
hundreds of times during race startsβ€”the whole debate probably would have ended right there.
