Particularly when Sebastian Vettel is cruising toward a convincing championship victory, while Fernando Alonso was left struggling to squeeze any meaningful performance out of that absolute junk Ferrari machine. One has to wonder, didn't both Spa and Indianapolis cost him those crucial points needed for the title?
It appears Adrian Newey has engineered yet another masterclass package for Red Bull Racing, leaving us once again watching Sebastian Vettel dominate from the lights to the checkered flag.
Given that Fernando Alonso typically gains seven to ten positions at the start, shouldn't he have anticipated such a disastrous run? If he had been handed a car that was actually competitive instead of what he has now, and if he could secure better qualifying results, perhaps he wouldn't find himself getting caught up in first-corner pileups race after race.
