This forum is such a goldmine for inspiration and finding solid info. I've noticed how certain news sites pick up topics and articles from here almost immediately whenever they pop up in history, science, or even fringe theory sections, and suddenly, nobody says a word. Why should I stress out or worry if I happen to share a spark of an idea? It's actually pretty easy to make some cash or get work done when you have places like this where people just pour out their thoughts and do the heavy lifting for you.
Totally agree. You can just flip a few words around and call it a day. (And by "morally," I mean those legal protections, like having the right to decide when, where, and how your work is published, or the right to protest if someone mangles your creation...)
That’s why I say it: I feel like the forum itself, as the publisher, holds a sort of copyright over these posts, especially since there's a footer that clearly states copyright.🤷
