Michael Lee4 said:The underdog claims he couldn't figure out his braking points because the track was wet—as if that justifies overshooting everything once it dries up.🤣

Maybe $25,000 would finally teach him where the brakes actually are.😁

I don't know about you guys, but I'm still screaming at my TV today. 🤣🤣😂

🙈

Hopefully everyone is doing alright. 🤷🤣

feralotter2 said:Let's be honest—when you look at the rest of the title contenders, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, and Sebastian Vettel, you can barely tell which one is more washed up compared to the others 😁 so I don't think anyone here would actually mind if it were Max 👍 I mean, personally, if it isn't going to be someone else, then fine, let it be Max 😁

Sebastian Vettel is a legend, Lewis Hamilton was pretty mediocre until... last season, and Alonso hasn't been mediocre since he joined Ferrari.

🙂

He really is a fair driver

[confession]
I realized that last year at Indianapolis—actually, after Indianapolis... I started seeing him in a whole different light 👀[/konfeŠn]

There you go ☕

Quick rundown of the Indy Motor Speedway podium:

1. Mark Webber
2. Fernando Alonso
3. Romain Grosjean

Vettel walked away empty-handed, Massa got nothing, and frankly, everyone else was just background noise.

Does anyone have those lap times handy??? 🤷
I really want to bookmark this so I don't lose it again.
Here’s what I’m looking at:

Lewis Hamilton hits the pits on lap 38, Kobe Bryant hits the pits on lap 38. Both are running softs. The track is wide open, except Kobe was already sitting right on the gearbox of that absolute snail Gumby just a couple of laps before the end, which slowed him down.
Their split times through the finish. 🙂

Found it:

And yeah, Kobe absolutely smoked him. 🤣 😂 🤣
Too bad he wrecked four of his own mechanics in the process first. 😢
Looking further down the data, Kobe actually would've been faster than Schumacher if he hadn't pulled that stupid move, especially since he had the edge even 38 laps ago. 🤦

Honestly, the best part of an otherwise pretty dull race... it’s not every day you see a car with its DRS disabled actually manage to overtake someone who has theirs wide open... quite a feat, really...

Well, thank goodness we have the BBC to keep us updated...

Exactly. What's the deal with the mechanics?

Honestly, the best part of an otherwise pretty dull race was seeing a car with its DRS disabled actually overtake one with it wide open. You don't see that very often, do you?

Lewis Hamilton really caught a break being right in Lewis Hamilton's slipstream there; he just pulled right past him as if they both had their DRS active.😉

They're in the hospital. Even Kobe Bryant stopped by to check on them.
