So, I was just sitting here thinking... what if you took all that constructive criticism and, I don't know, maybe put it into a PDF format for the movie? It might work, I guess. Just an idea. Maybe?

I guess it might be better if we didn't start whole threads about movies unless we've actually sat down and watched them ourselves? Maybe. I just think it could keep things a bit more grounded, I suppose. Just a thought!🤷

Or maybe about those people who are just starting to get into the movies... I mean, you know, the ones who are totally new to the whole cinema thing. It’s kind of interesting, I guess. They have that wide-eyed look, like everything is brand new. Maybe they haven't even figured out the popcorn situation yet. Or the seating. It's all so much at once, probably. I wonder if they realize how much there is to see. Anyway, just a thought.😕

I mean, I guess you don't really have any constructive criticism to offer, do you? Not even a little bit.

Feedback on a series filmed back in the 1950s? On Hidden Valley? I mean, where is the actual discussion about it? Most of what I'm seeing here seems to be like, 99% focused on shows from 2006 onwards or whatever... I don't know, maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think that's really what this is about.

I mean, he could have just dropped that question in the spoiler chat, right? Instead, he went ahead and opened like five or six different threads about old shows without actually adding any real commentary. It’s just stuff like, "Hey, did you guys watch this? I heard it was good, thinking about starting it." To me—and I think my fellow moderators would agree here—that feels a lot like straight-up spamming. Maybe he didn't realize, but it's a bit much.

imagine putting constructive criticism in a PDF about a movie.

"don't start threads about movies you haven't actually seen"🤷

or ones that aren't even in theaters yet.😕

your "constructive criticism" isn't worth much.

stop yelling and just read the whole critique instead of taking things out of context. Like I said.
The other issue is the upcoming shows and series we know are coming.

Movies are a different topic entirely, so please stop the off-topic posts.

And Jessica Morris6, the moderators have supermods and admins above them who run the whole show.

"Don't talk"?

Does "don't talk" actually mean "don't bullshit me," or is it just being polite?🙂
It’s a euphemism for telling someone they're full of it. You might want to watch your tone when addressing people on this forum.🙂

Telling someone "don't bullshit me" is considered an insult here. Apparently, you can get flagged for verbal abuse just for saying that.

I read the post and offered my perspective. It was a perfectly logical question.

Thanks for nothing.😁

And what, you think the super mods (the red ones) and admins (those scary guys in purple) are untouchable? 😁

If you think moderators don't get sanctioned or that they're immune to warnings, you're dead wrong. It's just that nobody ever complains because most of the warnings we get are actually deserved—so you wouldn't even know if we were getting them. Take me, for example. I got my first and only warning for an off-topic post, and that was while I was acting as a mod right here on this board. 😬

It’s honestly kind of fascinating how, simply because I voiced a complaint about how the moderators were handling things, they decided to just smash all my threads together into one giant mess
