Hotel Transylvania

This looks absolutely fantastic, and I’m genuinely crossing my fingers that it doesn't fly under the radar like A Monster in Paris did, or get completely overshadowed by massive hits like ParaNorman or Frankenweenie... plus, we've got Rise of the Guardians trying to squeeze into that same space too! 🙂

Good grief, why is it impossible to find an animated movie in our theaters that isn't dubbed over? I distinctly remember when the AMC Theatres near Capitol Hill used to host screenings in the original English, but this time around, absolutely nothing. It feels like the whole movie would have landed so much better if we could actually hear those original, clever double entendres, but everything just got lost in translation here. Unlike the German versions I've seen, which are always brilliantly dubbed, this was honestly just bad, really bad. And look, I know, I know—animated movies are supposed to be childish, right? Well, NOT! But with this dubbing, it just felt even more patronizing than it already was...

It sounds like Dražen Čuček voiced Dracula, and I’m guessing Šulentićka was Mavis... but I honestly can't figure out the rest.

I really need the info because I'm actually writing a piece about it.

Just watched it and honestly, the animation was pretty weak 😍
I keep trying to loop that song at the end, but unfortunately, YouTube only has the English version available right now 😢
