Review of the deleted post in the Fight (Misdemeanor & Felony Law) thread

I just replied to a colleague explaining why his posts keep getting nuked in the main section: "Well, as long as Katherine is moderating, you can expect that." Now my own post has been deleted, and I’m looking for a straight answer. I don't want any runaround or people playing games just to dodge an actual complaint about moderation. Since apparently I'm not allowed to post there, I figured I'd start a separate thread here.

That’s a legitimate grievance right there, and honestly, you didn't really have anything substantive or relevant to add to it. Just dropping comments without actually backing up your own point doesn't really get us anywhere.

Let me try to set the record straight here: 1. This thread is open for discussion, so anyone with an off-topic thought should technically be allowed to chime in. If that’s not how we’re doing things, then maybe these kinds of complaints should just be handled via private message instead.
2. My post actually stays on track because it's expressing my own personal take on the matter. And like I said before, I figured I had the right to share it.

Honestly, that post didn't actually offer any real arguments to back up what you were saying, nor did it include even a single link to other posts that could prove your point.

If you’re going to sit there and complain about something, you really ought to point to the actual evidence, right? It doesn't do anyone any favors to just throw out broad accusations without providing even a shred of proof to back up what you're claiming.

See, this is actually an appeal regarding his deleted post, not the one you're complaining about in your own thread. In his post over in that other discussion, he didn't actually say anything specific—he didn't even go as far as to complain that his own posts were being wiped out somewhere, nothing at all. And he hasn't said that here either. Posts get cleared out across the entire forum every single day, so if he’s actually upset because something of his was removed, he needs to just come out and say it clearly. Besides, I already explained to him exactly why that particular post was taken down over there.
