Isn't the turnout at the Rose Bowl actually pretty killer this year, regardless of who we're playing? I mean, what are you guys even on about?

Look, 13,000 people showed up for the Inter Miami CF game. You guys are talking nonsense.
And honestly, how can anyone say fans don't care about the derby when there were ten thousand of you out there yesterday, only for the next home game to have a pathetic turnout again?

The whole argument that attendance depends on how "exciting" the opponent is... that's just how things work here given the state of our league. Instead of stepping back and realizing why Hajduk isn't the massive draw it used to be—a team people actually crave to see—you're all obsessing over low numbers for a game where one of the main players is your own beloved Hajduk.

Hmm... Inter Miami CF had 15,000 fans this season, which is the same crowd we saw at the stadium for the big derby. But at the Rose Bowl, the away section was completely empty. Is that really okay?

If you hadn't been playing against Hajduk yesterday, there would have only been 500 of you in the stands, and then I'd be sitting here reading posts from people like you claiming, "Oh, I'd rather have 500 real fans than 3,000 random tourists." Before the era of the big money moves, I didn't even realize games were happening. It's pretty obvious that for the average fan, even a massive rivalry isn't enough to pull them out of their house and into the stadium.
Imagine if this had aired on NBC and it was actually raining outside. Then people would realize how little the average American actually cares about this derby. 😉
