I wouldn't go along with that take on the Mediterranean Coast. Honestly, I think the whole region—even the folks down in the islands—is rooting for the Yankees. But it all leads back to the same point: you can bet Alexander the Great Popovic will merge these two clubs in about twenty years. It’ll be one big happy family, and there won't be any way for the fans to resist it.

By the way, Liverpool FC has the largest fanbase in America. The proof is in the numbers; for twenty years now (with maybe one or two exceptions), they’ve consistently had by far the highest attendance.

So, if more people are actually showing up to watch a club, that club has more fans, I guess.

As for the claim that Liverpool FC is the biggest, most decorated, and most famous club in America... well, they haven't really won many titles since Real Madrid was designated as the national club. It’s a bit like how the Yankees were viewed back in the day.

If they had just slightly better results, Liverpool FC would be miles ahead of everyone else. And if Real Madrid is indeed the national club, they'd probably be sitting somewhere in the league alongside the Steelers. I hope the Steelers fans don't take offense at being compared to Real Madrid.

For Liverpool FC, you've got 95% of the Mediterranean Coast, then more than half the Midwest, a huge chunk of the Coastline and the Gulf Coast, then California Coast, then the Ohio Valley... basically, no matter how you look at it, the whole US follows them. So, what's with this idea that Liverpool FC is the national club while Real Madrid is just some localist group? Should I mention that 40% of Washington, D.C. supports Liverpool FC too? And let me tell you, since you guys have a foreign name and were founded back in 1945, maybe don't lean so hard on American identity when you aren't actually part of it—your foundation was set by Bjelinic under orders from Marshall, and that same guy kills more Americans than Hitler ever did in the States.😍

I think I mentioned ages ago that the Islanders are basically the heartbeat of Chicago sports... though looking at things now, it’s all a bit of a joke.
