You're fine by me too, so how about this: I won't be showing up on SON anymore. Is that cool?

That’s not what I’m asking for, you unproven manchild.🙂 😁

I’m just making a suggestion. Since you enjoy starting threads—which is great—try actually using your brain for once and formulate an actual opinion instead of just hiding behind everyone else's posts. It’s not an issue that you buy content; the issue is that you lack a perspective of your own. Build one. State it. For heaven's sake, stop constantly copy-pasting articles and start writing your own views.

Melissa Castillo said:rustydrifter10, look, if this whole thread is just totally baseless—meaning, if Larry Walker24 actually is a constructive member of Reddit and I’m just sitting here being super jealous of his style, his popularity, and those deep, profound posts of his that honestly belong in a high-security museum vault, then fine! I’ll go ahead and scatter some ashes over my head right now and send you a bouquet of flowers. Just lock the thread immediately and I promise I won't ever bring him up again.

God, seriously, people need to report the indecent posts. Spam should be wiped out and eventually result in a ban. Threads that are nothing more than mindless copy-pasting shouldn't be allowed either, and they ought to be deleted or penalized too. Ultimately, it's up to the moderators to decide how and when to hand out sanctions based on the community rules.

I’m just giving you some advice. Since you're already here posting and starting threads—which is cool, by the way—maybe try actually using your brain for once instead of just nesting your shitty opinions under everyone else's quotes. It's not a big deal if you read other people's stuff, but it's a massive issue when you don't have an opinion of your own. Build one. State your case. Stop just copy-pasting articles and start actually saying what you think.

Fine, whatever!

Thanks!

Larry Walker24 said:then you clearly aren't reading my posts!!! because my actual take would be obvious!

Besides, there's an ignore button—so just mute me if it's that big of a deal!

There's also the Offtopic/Spam rule, where you lose 10 points for every copy-paste job. Any post that's just a mindless rip-off without adding any actual insight is basically spam, since anyone hanging out on Reddit can find that info themselves. On the Politics sub, those kinds of posts break the rules, and honestly, I think they violate the spirit of this whole site too.

Like Tim mentioned earlier, you really need to step up the quality of your posts. Otherwise, the mods might start nuking every single one of them, and if this keeps up, a partial ban is definitely on the table.
