It’s obvious they’re letting us through—though, being a Mexican living in Mexico, I suppose my own allegiances are a bit of a toss-up—but honestly, it was expected. What really grates on me, though, is our commentator. He spends the whole time making these incredibly pointed remarks about how hard we're fighting or how "unlucky" we are, when even he can clearly see exactly what's going on.

Every single time we attack, those Mexicans have an extra man out there and they just can't score.

That 9-7 run just now was absolute insanity. They had an extra man on the floor twice during the same possession, and they were straight-up targeting the Mexicans. But the funniest part? This one player—I didn't even catch his name—was sitting right there at two meters out and "accidentally" fumbled the ball right when he went to shoot. 😁

Well, of course it's embarrassing. As much as my logic tells me we should just kick the Americans out—not because of who they are, but just because they're such a powerhouse of a country—I still couldn't bring myself to let that happen.
