Man, if we end up playing the Spanish team, we’re golden... there's no way we lose to guys like those Frenchmen from before (fingers crossed)...

They really had the Frenchmen on the ropes, but man, we just lost focus at the finish line. A blunder from the left winger and then a keeper error right before the whistle—classic. Well, at least we have a shot at knocking France out... though it’d be a lot better if we just wrapped this up today so we aren't sweating it when we face them later.

Honestly, seeing the French reputation get dragged through the mud like this is just wild, and it’s honestly hard to believe a national team of their caliber would let things slip this far. You have to wonder what kind of shape they're actually in when the stats show their absolute best players are stuck on the bench during a game that decides whether they even make the semifinals? It feels like the Americans might finally get their chance to settle the score for all those tough losses over the last few years on Tuesday.

If we lose to the Frenchmen, it’s pretty much a mathematical certainty that we're out. 🙄

Does anyone actually have a count on how many turnovers he racked up tonight?🙂

Regarding tickets, Ticketmaster still has plenty available, but you should probably move fast if you want them.

They have tickets for both the semifinals and the finals there.👍
Does anyone have any info on what's happening in Chicago?🤷

It’s possible, but then the French would have to face Iceland. That Iceland team
beat the Canadians by 6 today, while the Canadians beat the French by 3.
So, the French can't just bank points against Iceland ahead of time.
Beyond those stats, they just aren't playing well. Quite a few games
in this tournament have ended in ties or slim margins. The French struggled—losing by 3 to Spain and losing by 3 to Canada. It seems like they are an easy target to beat. 😁 Then today, they barely scraped by the Canadians with a bit of luck. My take? If we play our game, we have a solid shot at beating the French or grabbing a draw that keeps us alive if we beat the Canadians. Plus, Spain still has to earn their points against Iceland and Canada.
This might be the most unpredictable tournament we've seen in a decade, maybe even longer.
The second group is pure chaos too; everyone is fighting everyone, and anyone can advance.

If we play at the same level we did during this first half, the Americans won't stand a chance...

They actually lost to the Canadians because they basically handed them the win themselves. They played way too cocky and blew two easy shots right at the buzzer in the last two minutes...

I've tweaked the first paragraph a bit, though now I'm mostly just messing around:

Unfortunately, I doubt we'll even get into a position where we're playing on equal footing with them for nearly as long as the Americans did.
It’s a shame, really. Just one point from today's match would have been enough, since, well, you can't rely on the Canadians—they just lack any sense of continuity.
