Back in June or July, I caught scabies from someone at a nursing home, and honestly, the entire summer was just one long struggle with it. My doctor prescribed this cream called Balsam Perivanum, which finally stopped the itching, and then she told me to apply Kuterderm to any spots that were still red.
The thing is, since the scabies kept coming back two or three times, I started self-treating and repeating the therapy on my own. I’m doing fine now—no itching for two or three months—but there are these two large, pimple-like bumps left on my side. Each of those two inflamed areas actually consists of about three or four tiny little bumps. When I try applying creams (like Kuterderm, or some other ointment with... I can't recall the exact name, something with "thop..." in it), they just won't go away. Sometimes the swelling and inflammation subside so much that nothing feels hard when I touch it, but then other times, it flares right back up again.
On top of that, over the last four or five days, a red bump or something similar has popped up near my wrist. If I use some aloe vera gel, it clears up, but this latest one just won't budge. It doesn't itch at all, but I am quite worried.
Does anyone have any insight on this? Is it possible to fully clear this up? :S
