The Scary Movie franchise (1, 2, 3, 4, 5...)

Absolute garbage. Worst one yet.

I caught it this past Saturday, went in with zero expectations, and honestly? It was alright. I wouldn't say it hits the heights of the first two—those were absolute gems—but it’s definitely better than the fourth one, which was a total 👎. Yeah, there's plenty of dumb humor, but we actually had a good laugh. It's a pass for me, but don't expect anything more than that.

So I grabbed this web rip off a torrent, but the whole thing was only 66 minutes long before the credits just rolled out of nowhere. I checked some other versions and they're listed at 70 minutes, which probably includes the credits, but then I look online and everyone says the runtime is actually 86 minutes... I guess I'm just totally lost, but there's no way I'd drop cash on a movie theater ticket for a 66-minute flick, that would be such a disaster.

It’s honestly pretty disappointing—easily the worst one yet. Once you take Cindy and the brand out of the equation, there's just nothing left.😁
As for her, I don't think Ashley Tisdale has much acting range at all.🙄

Man, that was absolute trash. And I honestly thought Haunted House and Movie 43 were the bottom of the barrel.

Just finished watching the fifth one... what a disaster. 🙏 No matter how much I loved the first four, and regardless of my massive appreciation for Ashley Tisdale, this was 🙂 🙂 🙂

Anna Faris is simply irreplaceable.

Those sped-up scenes 🙂 combined with special effects that look like they were slapped together in MS Paint 🙂 By the time the credits rolled, I was 😕 There were maybe one or two funny moments in the entire 70 minutes, and even those relied heavily on that housekeeper character.

Waiting for the sixth one. ☕

I’d say this is one of those movie franchises that feels pretty mindless and lacks any real wit... though I guess that might not be an issue if you aren't particularly bright!
