Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York City FC, 4-1 at the 93rd minute... I can't even remember which players were actually on the pitch back then, honestly. It’s not even about the cheering or the crowd for me; it’s more about how the whole damn atmosphere felt.

Why were those kids from the San Francisco City FC academy wearing black armbands during the game against the Appalachians, while our boys didn't have them on at all? 🤷

Look, a person doesn't necessarily have to be your cup of tea for you to feel the weight of their passing. He wasn't exactly my favorite guy, if I'm being honest... but he was a local legend through and through, a true one-of-a-kind character. Every time someone like that leaves us, it feels like a bit of the soul of the city goes with them. It's a damn shame. R.I.P.
