On that thread about high school drama, some girl was venting about how this guy keeps picking on her and making her look like an idiot. To make matters worse, she’s dealing with some pretty bad acne. Then, out of nowhere, this guy asks her out for coffee right in front of everyone. Honestly, I thought it was incredibly cool, so I quoted his post and added this emoji 👍. Of course, once I hit send, Jason Morgan gives me 10 points and my post gets nuked. It’s completely unfair to delete a post just because it was directed at someone. It was a meaningful moment! She could have just let me keep my points instead of forcing me to delete it. It’s not just wrong—it’s honestly pathetic.

This forum isn't Facebook. There aren't any likes to chase here.

You clearly have the ability to write a decent post when you want to—apply that same standard to other threads...

Just posting emojis counts as spam here. You'll get slapped with a 10-point penalty and your post gets nuked. It's all laid out in the rules. 🙂

To put it bluntly—without all the moderator jargon—quoting a post just to drop a smiley face is considered spam. Under our community guidelines, that’s enough to land you a warning card... If you aren't sure, the rules are pinned as the very first subforum on the main page, and you can also find specific rules at the top of almost every individual section here on the site.

If you could put together such a solid post here, you can do the same on other threads.
