Abduction (year : 2011 country)

The acting was truly abysmal—goodness gracious, if they had cast anyone else, the movie might have actually held some water, though I suppose the whole thing feels like something we've seen a hundred times before anyway. I did find myself somewhat captivated by that one scene where those CIA agents were pretending to be dead, though.

Watched Bio on TV, mostly just to see my favorite, Sigourney. She barely had any screen time, but honestly, even a cameo from her is worth it since she’s such an incredible actress.

I haven't touched the "Twilight" saga (nor do I plan to), and I've never seen anything featuring Taylor Lautner. But calling his 🤦 "acting" is a joke. What a hack. Lily Collins absolutely outclassed him in every single scene they shared. He’s supposed to be grieving his adoptive parents and suffering because his dad won't call, but his facial expressions? Absolutely criminal.

Even Alfred Molina felt off in this one.

Sure, Nathan is supposed to be some kind of martial arts expert, but some of those scenes were just way too much. Especially that stadium sequence 😵 Plus his "acting" and that pathetic "love story." The movie is okay if you want something to watch, but those things are huge negatives for me.
