The issue is he spun right as a car was coming straight at himβhe saw it clearly. Seriously, he had to go off the track for that.

He should've just waited for them to pass before trying to spin it.

He should've just waited for it to pass before moving.

Wait until they're stoppedβafter the turn? Man, someone would've absolutely taken him out.

Just imagine the sheer magnitude of that momentβtaking the win at his home race, especially after finally breaking through for his very first victory π
Such beautiful symbolism
Itβs true that this race effectively decides the championship, but more importantly, Button has proven exactly what kind of driver he is. In my honest opinion, he has truly been the standout performer this season, even while battling that massive 100-point deficit against the leader.
Let's just hope he can power through these last five laps.

Just hoping it goes through.

Sure, this race pretty much seals the championship, but the main thing is that Button proved heβs in a league of his own. Personally, I think he's been the real standout this season, especially considering he's fighting through a massive 100-point gap behind the leader.
Let's just grind out these last 5 laps.
That lead wouldn't look so big if he hadn't messed up at Silverstone and Germany.

He was sitting outside the racing line and then started spinning out just as the other driver was coming through!
