Would it actually crash the server if we had something more useful? I mean, come on—our servers are supposedly indestructible, right? But seriously, would giving us regular users templates with, say, a hundred private messages be too much to ask? Having only 75 is honestly pathetic. It’s just not enough.

We should be constantly questioning our decisions. Get a new server, hire some new people—maybe it’ll actually pass this time. Is there any actual reason why it wouldn't work? I seriously doubt that adding 25 more messages is going to crash the server any harder than it is right now.

I totally agree, 75 messages is way too few! Especially when we're busy gossiping! 🤷 Everyone just ends up sending private messages to each other and the inbox gets slammed instantly! 😢 I guess it’s hard for you guys to get it since you haven't experienced the magic of gossiping via PM, but seriously, clearing out an inbox constantly is exhausting!

Man, if only we had a female admin!

Well, admins, I see the mods actually have our backs! 👏 Bigger inboxes, please! 👋 No, but seriously, would increasing that actually crush the servers? A single DM feels about the same as one post on the Forum, except they get deleted constantly anyway, so it shouldn't be a huge deal. But hey, I guess someone actually knows how to run those numbers properly.

You know what, I think it was a hundred back in the day too. 😳 I’m guessing they cut it because of server load, but now that our server isn't hosted over in Albania, there’s no reason we can't go back to the old way. 🤷

The thing is, it hits the limit incredibly fast, especially when we're busy gossiping (just like my colleague darksailor2 mentioned 😳).

Then it happens—we step away for a quick coffee break for fifteen minutes, come back, and realize we missed a mountain of important updates because our inbox was already maxed out. 😢
Girls, now that I actually say it out loud, it makes us sound like we don't have lives outside of this Forum and our private messages. 🤔
Which is exactly true! 😳 Do something to brighten up our pathetic little lives. 😁

But seriously. Every single time I issue a ban, that automated message gets saved to my inbox, and more often than not, the banned user actually replies to it. Then there are all the other PMs regarding moderation duties. And just regular PMs. 😢 😁

It's funny, because my experience is the opposite; I'll get a notification about a strike, and then I find myself messaging the moderator to ask for some clarity on why it happened in the first place.
I get these sweet little notes from Mulica telling me I'm doing great, and even if I tell her I'm not really interested in chatting, the messages just keep rolling in.
Then you have my close friends—you know, the usual crew—dropping by my inbox too. 😬 It’s a constant stream.

And I haven't even finished my third cup of coffee yet. 😢

Look, when you're issuing a warning, there's an option at the bottom that says, "Save a copy of this message to your Sent folder." You can just uncheck that box. 🙂

Two major things to consider here:

Can someone please tell me—does anyone actually remember if there were ever any 90 PMs around? 🙂

Look, I don't gain anything personally here—it’s not like there's money in this for me—but if the Forum admins don't mind my input, I think you guys seriously need more PM capacity. Honestly, a better way to handle this would be to just back up those messages into .txt files or save them elsewhere periodically and then clear out the inbox. That’s exactly what I do. Sometimes it feels like that’s the only productive thing I actually do on here... *sniff*. 😳)

I could always ask my boss what he thinks about it, but I'm pretty sure he’s just gonna shut me down.

We really need to find a way to get rid of these private messages
