Bump on my finger bone - any advice?

So, here’s the situation...
My little niece, who is about five and a half years old, has developed this small growth on her ring finger bone. It feels like there's a tiny bump on the palm side of the finger, right near the base of the knuckle. It's incredibly small—you can't even really see it with the naked eye. Does anyone have any idea what this might be?😕 I could really use some help here. 🙏

P.S. It’s on her right hand, and she says it hurts whenever it gets pressed even slightly.

Look, don't go playing doctor on internet forums when it comes to kids. Just take her to a pediatrician. It could be anything from a simple cyst to a tumor, or it could be nothing at all.
