So, I haven't been on the forum in a while, and now that I'm finally back, I realized all my posts have vanished. I had about 4,500 of them. 🙄

I already sent an inquiry asking if they could be restored and when I might see them again, and they told me to just hang tight for a few days. Well, it's been two months now, and I've heard absolutely nothing.

I have a couple of questions:
1. Why were my posts even deleted in the first place? Technically, the content still seems to be there, but my profile shows a count of 200 instead of 4,500.
2. Is there any chance they'll actually be restored, and if so, when can I expect that to happen?

Some chats have been wiped. If you posted anything in them, those posts are gone and they aren't coming back (they are permanently deleted).

44 mostly hung out on Disney, and just like the rest of us, his posts have vanished. I guess all we can do is wait, but there's a 99% chance they aren't coming back.

If they decide to show up on the forum again, they’ll be back, but let’s be real, 44antinl definitely has way more posts than what's actually being displayed here

I haven't seen any of them around for months now... and honestly, at this rate, it feels like they might just be gone for good 😳

This is ridiculous. If I’m not posting about politics or deep philosophy—you know, those long-winded essays that read like a Dostoevsky novel—my posts just get nuked. I used to have a few hundred credits over there, but most of them were earned on Disney. I don't see any reason why they should be getting deleted. 🤷

Seriously, injustice is everywhere. 🙂

I have them too, and not just from Disney. I'll admit, most of mine are from there, but I've got maybe 3 or 4k from other places. So, I guess we'll just wait and see, right? 🙂

Man, honestly, once those database issues hit, the whole counter just completely tanked.
I haven't a clue what stage they're at with all this patching and tidying up, but I’m hoping along with everyone else that they finally get the database optimization sorted soon, because then maybe—just maybe—we'll actually see a post count that reflects reality instead of this mess.

Also, just a heads-up, I noticed the post counter in the threads seems to be off by one!
For instance, you’ll look at a thread and see it says there are 4353 posts, but once you actually click in, the very last post is labeled as number 4354. It's a little glitchy.

Nah. It’s actually incredibly easy to explain if you just realize you don't understand the difference between the total number of replies versus the actual number of posts. That's exactly why I told you to take a second and actually wrap your head around it first.
