So, my old mobile hotspot just kicked the bucket on me the other day. Since I tossed the warranty in the trash ages ago, I’m really not looking to get shackled to some massive year-long contract or anything ridiculous like that. Honestly, things are a bit up in the air right now and there's a decent chance I might be packing my bags and moving out of the country pretty soon, so I need something flexible.
Does anyone have any leads on where I can snag a decent deal on one of these gadgets without getting ripped off?
I was thinking about switching over to Verizon because the 3G coverage in the area where I spend most of my time actually works, which is a small mercy.

Look, you don't even need to be signing some long-term contract; they have those basic startup bundles where you just grab a USB dongle for around 150-$67 bucks.
I could probably hook you up with a VIP stick for $17 😁, but if you'd rather do it yourself, you can just head over to the Verizon web shop and pick up that Huawei model for $48 (which ends up being $33 once it hits your statement).
