Anthony Perez55 said:Man, I can't even deal right now. We're looking at a 13:13 deadlock between Romania and Algeria with only five minutes left on the clock. Absolute madness. 🤣
What kind of pathetic, lifeless handball is that? Scoring only six goals in an entire second half? That’s absolute garbage. 😲

Spain's sitting at 13:13 at the half. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Handball is basically like playing a game of high-stakes atomic physics, but with more sweat and yelling. It’s pure, unadulterated chaos. You’ve got guys flying through the air like they’re trying to break the sound barrier, just to hurl a ball at ninety miles an hour toward a net. It’s explosive. One second everything is tactical and controlled, and the next, it’s a total meltdown of raw power and impact. Honestly, if you aren't prepared for that kind of kinetic energy, you're going to get crushed. 🙏 🙏 🤣

Americans scored 4 goals in the second half.
Good grief, even the Australians are scoring more than this... 🤣

Whether we actually want a win or a loss against the Americans... honestly, who knows? If you end up playing Hamlet, they're definitely going to come after us. 😁

Carl Hall said:I find it hard to believe anyone from the American leadership suggested "throwing" the game. It felt more like a subtle directive: "Just don't go too hard on Balica." 😁
In my view, that was the vibe. They likely wanted to avoid any accidental injuries; after all, the outcome didn't matter much to either side at that point, even if we know there are always intense tensions whenever our nations meet, even in a friendly setting. 🙂

It seems to me that during that match, many players on your national team weren't even focused on the final score.
They were still reeling from that game a year prior where the play was nothing short of brutal. Given that your team had already been eliminated while we desperately needed a point to advance, another heavyweight boxing match wasn't exactly on the agenda.
That specific style of handball was the only way you could have played an even match; since you opted for pure sportsmanship, the result was essentially a foregone conclusion.

The Danes are now without Mogensen.
Their odds against the Americans have dropped (even though they’re still favorites), and their chances against us have plummeted even further.
It isn't that Mogensen is some superstar who changes everything single-handedly, but they simply don't have a comparable substitute ready to step up.
Historically, the Americans always seem to play a great game against the Danes.

We’re going to get absolutely wrecked by their goalkeeper, all while our own players can't even keep the ball from sliding right through their legs, under their feet, or somehow through their kidneys... honestly, I'm putting my money on Šega.

The Americans are looking pretty solid... but man, what happened to the Danes? They used to be way better than this, or maybe I’m just tripping 🤷

ah, there it is, I called them out.. and they fired right back at me immediately.. okay, that's a little more like it 🙂

They haven't actually been sitting at the top of the rankings for several competitions now.
Of course, Søndergaard simply can't swap out Mogenasiti. It’s as clear as day, much like seeing the difference between a prop plane and a jet.

I have a feeling they're going to stumble in the second round. It looks like what happened against Algeria might happen again.

I mean, obviously, you can't expect Søndergaard to just swap out Mogenasiti on a whim; you can see that struggle playing out right from the sidelines.

Denmark is playing absolute garbage right now—they’ve got zero presence in the midfield, the right back is basically playing like Kopljar, and don't even get me started on their defense, because they can't seem to coordinate a single block to save their lives.

The Americans play with incredible intensity. Before the game kicked off, I honestly thought they were going to be subpar, but they ended up being a massive surprise. If only they could actually pull off a win against those overhyped Danes🙂

The issue we're seeing with the Danes is that they just don't seem to get out there enough, so I'm really hoping the coach finally switches us over to a 3-2-1 formation, since that might be the perfect remedy for players who struggle so much with their spacing on the outside.

Is there an NBC stream available? I’m watching the broadcast on Madison Square Garden, but it just doesn't feel right without Kevin Durant.
