My monitor just died on me, and now my brother is telling me he’s got both of these sitting around and I can pick whichever one I want. So, I’m turning to you all to help me decide which is the better choice. 🙂

Just for everyday stuff... I might fire up a game here or there, but nothing intense or high-end,

Looking at the specs, I’d say go with the Samsung, but honestly? Just fire both of them up and see which picture actually hits right for you.
