Maybe it’s just an allergy to something?

My sister had the exact same thing going on around her hips and butt, and her dermatologist just prescribed this little cream. It cleared everything up in maybe ten days or so.

It sounds like you might be dealing with some kind of rash. Have you tried picking up anything over-the-counter at a drugstore, or maybe eaten something lately that’s loaded with allergensβ€”you know, things like nuts, peanuts, eggs, or fish?

My daughter actually ended up with similar little spots on her legs once. It didn't even itch, and it turned out to be nothing more than a reaction to those mussels that had dried strawberries and bananas mixed in. 🀷

It’s not a rash, guys. It looks more like tiny red spotsβ€”kind of like those little broken capillaries you see on someone's skin sometimes. Could this be related to PMS? Does anyone know? It doesn't hurt, sting, or itch... nothing! 🀷I'm terrified it might be something serious.😒It isn't on my hands, my feet, or my back... just my torso, the outer part of my breasts, and my lower stomachβ€”specifically the area covered by my underwear. πŸ˜•I can't believe this! I am losing my mind here. 😠Thanks so much to everyone for the replies. πŸ‘

Go see a doctor.

It could be an allergy to the dye or maybe just the fabric in your underwear. If it were anything else, you wouldn't just have it localized where your clothes touch your skinβ€”it would be all over your body.

I went 😒 to the doctor because I had no clue what was happening. They said it wasn't contagious and gave me some antibiotic cream, but I refuse to believe it's an allergy. My underwear is pure cotton, my bras are too... I even iron everything! For heaven's sake! 😠

Well, you figured it out. Honestly, if things don't start looking better in two or three days, I’m heading straight back to the doctor to demand a referral for a dermatologist.

Exactly! πŸ™„ And to make it even more pathetic, the guy is supposed to be a dermatologist. 😠Unbelievable, seriously!!!
I'm just going to let this play out and see what happens. Does any of this have anything to do with PMS? A friend told me she gets breakouts right before her period, which is exactly what I deal with, and I'm in that phase right now.
What a perfect storm. β˜•

Did you switch up your laundry detergent or maybe the fabric softener? 🀷 It’s gotta be some kind of allergy, right...

Sometimes that rash is just straight up caused by your laundry detergent, or you're being way too heavy-handed with it.

Just switch brands and cut back on how much you're dumping in the machine and you'll see it clear up

I'm using Tide 😁 It could definitely be the cause, but why would it only affect these specific areas??? I'll try cutting down the dosage and running an extra rinse cycle to see if that fixes things.πŸ˜‰
Thanks a ton 😍

Look, I use Tide and Downy Baby. 🀷I haven't changed that combo in two years.

thanks a million 😍

It's because those parts of your body are way more sensitive, so just use less of it.

A rash like that could potentially be caused by a low platelet count.
If you don't see it receding quickly or if it actually starts spreading, it would be a really good idea to go ahead and get a complete blood count done just to be safe!

Sure, thrombocytopenia is a possibility, but honestly, I feel like if that were the case, it would be showing up everywhere, not just right where the laundry hits the skin. 🀷 They really ought to run a full blood panel too, just to make sure the platelet count is actually within a normal range.

Where you’re feeling that weight loss, the real issue probably boils down to nutritionβ€”specifically your stomach. It’s like your body just isn't processing things right. Whether it’s the specific foods you're eating, the timing, or just the sheer volume... something isn't clicking with your digestion. I'm assuming there might be some irregularities with your cycle too?

Stay well and take care πŸ‘‹

They were clearly clueless. πŸ‘‹

Thanks for the reply.πŸ˜‰ I had my liver enzymes checked today to make sure everything is functioning properly, and thank God, everything came back normal... but I don't really get what you mean regarding the stomach and diet. I eat the exact same things I've eaten my entire 27 years of life, so I can't see how that connects to this. And let me repeat: IT IS NOT A RASH! It's something more confusing than that. 🀷 Even my doctor is stumped, but I'm expecting results tomorrow to see if there's an allergy involved. If so, I'll move on to allergy testing.

The assumption about my period? I don't understand that at all. What kind of problem??? My cycle is regular; I have zero issues there, unless you count PMS? That’s what I was implying, honestly. 🀷 Thanks again. Best regards to you all! 😘
