Kimberly Davis61 said:Kudos to McLaren... Ham's drive was something else... and seeing those pit strategies and tire management dialed in... maybe this season won't be a total snooze fest after all...🙄

As for Ferrari... it’s just classic sloppy Italian mismanagement... ever since they lost their top-tier engineers from the UK and Germany, their pit stops have gone downhill and the car itself? Don't even get me started... I guess they're still leaning on a bit of luck to stay relevant, but that window isn't going to stay open forever.

Time for some sodas.☕

Facts. This is the Ferrari I actually used to root for back in the day.😍

Massa: 🤣 :damonhill1999:

Hamilton 🙏 my respect for him keeps growing.

Believe it or not, that 2007 season was the only time I ever actually found myself rooting for them—it was a total lightning-in-a-bottle moment, and honestly, I haven't felt that kind of connection to their team since.🤣

Watching the absolute chaos that is the Ferrari pit wall feels like having a front-row seat to a high-stakes circus—and honestly, I wouldn't trade that madness for anything in the world.🍿🍿🍿

I started rooting for them back in '07. Used to be a McLaren guy before that.🤣

I honestly don't know what people expect from the strategists over at Mercedes—you simply can't outmaneuver a massive gap in car performance and driver skill through tactics alone. If they get lucky with a bold call, maybe they'll snag a podium, but if they just play it safe and follow everyone else's lead, they aren't going to see any meaningful results...

Exactly. You've got bad strategy and good strategy. That’s why Button finished third while Alonso ended up fifth.

With Red Bull and McLaren right on his tail, they couldn't pass him. His own pit wall totally screwed him over.☕

Let them celebrate while they still can.😁 The main thing is that none of those supposedly "brilliant" teams could pass us on pure pace on the track.🙏 😁 😁

Give it a little time. Once our strategists actually get their act together and figure out what they're doing, it’ll be—as Vettel used to say—ring ding ding ding.🙏 🙏 🙏 😁

You better make a run for it and get out of that absolute English-speaking hellscape before you lose what's left of your mind. 🤮

How’s everyone doing today?🙂🤷

Not too bad. 🙏 I suppose the best driver on the grid is driving for us 🙏 back in 2016. 😁 I guess I'm not exactly worried about our future. 🙏 😁

And just like that, McLaren is absolutely crushing Ferrari. What a turnaround! 😂😂😂

Alonso had an absolute rocket of a start... you can just tell the guy is a total master of his craft... even in a subpar car...

The McLaren crew seems pretty stoked, basically just patting themselves on the back... but here’s the cold, hard truth...

Vettel has stretched his lead to 41 points over Chemist... so what does that actually do for McLaren? Not much.

At the end of the day, finishing the season in second or fifth doesn't mean squat when people only care about the champions... plus, Hamilton just took another massive step backward during this race...

And he had a car that could have actually kept pace with Vettel... he just lacked the guts and the pure skill to pull it off.

swiftjackal3 said:They’ve got Alonso, right? Honestly, he’s easily the best driver on the starting grid right now. But man, Ferrari is really missing a top-tier engineer. Instead, they’re stuck with these guys who just don't get it. You look at a team like Lotus—they’re actually making progress race after race! Meanwhile, these guys over in Italy? They’re full throttle going in the wrong direction. It's like they're driving straight into a thick fog and can't find their way back to clarity. What are they even doing?

Look, Alonso is brilliant when everything clicks, when the car is dialed in and he’s in total control of the situation. But unfortunately, I guess when things go sideways and he has to fight, he isn't quite as dominant. The real issue at Ferrari is Domenicali. He’s just a damn economist—a textbook manager who lacks any actual technical expertise. He simply doesn't understand the nuances of motorsports enough to be running an elite team like this.
Maybe when the big boss finally realizes by the end of this season that having an Italian lead at Ferrari isn't a winning strategy, they'll bring in someone from the outside who actually knows how to organize a crew.
I mean, watching Webber today... he's barely even trying!

It wasn't even about playing games... Alonso nailed that start and jumped straight into P1... any strategy they had before that was basically garbage at that point. They should've just focused on holding that spot instead of making him look like an idiot and dropping him down to 5th. The guy gave it everything he had right out of the gate, but the crew just doesn't get it. It’s funny how the engineer gets a bonus for things going well, but they'd be just as quick to blame Alonso if he'd crashed out... honestly, I could probably come up with a better plan than these geniuses who just screwed him over with that terrible pit timing...😠😠😠

I don't hear Fernando agreeing with any of that.🤷

Talk about terrible timing—it’s like showing up to a party just as everyone is heading out the door.😁😁

I’m pulling for Red Bull and Williams all the way!👋👋

It’s honestly such a trip to watch a massive beverage giant absolutely steamroll an entire car manufacturer—it’s like watching a heavyweight boxer walk into a ring against a lightweight and just completely taking over the whole show.🙂

Honestly, if I were one of you die-hard Ferrari fans, I’d probably just start bracing myself for the inevitable drought under the leadership of the legendary, unstoppable, and truly magnificent Fernando Alonso.

I almost feel a little sorry for you guys.😢
