Shuffle, jumpstyle, and DnB dance styles: thoughts?

Is anyone else here actively looking into this matter? 🙂

I wasn't messing around back in the day, but now some itch I can't scratch keeps coming back, and I'm starting to get into it again🙄🙄🙄,

Tried my hand at blending some jumpstyle and the c-walk into a DnB set (ummm... called it relatively successful ^^;; )

Anyway, ruggedpilot3; two questions
Do you know how to shuffle?
And tell me, is there anywhere in NYC where people just go wild together with some pork ribs?

Does anyone actually know if there are any shuffle dance workshops happening around NYC? 🤷 😕

I caught a video of that on YouTube recently, and honestly, the shuffle looks incredible... where in NYC can I actually go to learn how to do that?

I’ve always been pretty drawn to shuffledancing myself, and I’d love to actually get some decent training under my belt... if anyone happens to know where I could find a good spot in NYC to learn, let me know.

I used to do jumpstyle a few years back, and maybe some DnB if we hit up a warehouse rave, but honestly, it’s more just random dancing than actual DnB moves xD

I've been really wanting to pick up shuffling lately, but I was wondering if anyone here actually knows their way around it? Does it make any sense to try and teach myself at home using YouTube tutorials? I feel like with enough patience and consistent practice, I might be able to pull it off on my own, but I'm not entirely sure.

I mean, surely there’s someone out there looking to shuffle who hasn't been doing it for seven years already 🙂
I actually started teaching myself via YouTube toward the end of last year—it’s totally worth it... just practice, good luck, and hit me up 🙂
It honestly surprises me that there isn't more interest in this here in the States; feels like we might just be a little too lazy for this kind of thing 😁
