Is anyone here actually using this software? I’d be so incredibly grateful if someone could give me a quick rundown of what it can actually do!

Thanks so much for sharing that link! Do you actually use that software yourself? I’m really curious about how people actually put IBM to work in the real world. It would be incredibly helpful if someone could walk me through some concrete examples of how and why it's used—especially when it comes to the linear programming side of things!

Look, I’ve been using it myself. I guess it really depends on what you’re actually trying to dig into 😬

It’s mostly used for linear programming, game theory, assignment problems, transportation models, and a whole bunch of other stuff like that...

In a real job, there isn't much use for it, honestly. It feels more like a student version meant for classroom exercises. You can solve problems, even some fairly large ones I suppose, but I've always been told it's just something you use while you're still in college; unfortunately, nobody ever really showed us what comes after that.
