Alright, here's the deal... bad breath is killing me. For the last year, my throat's been acting up—I've got this constant thick mucus I have to hack up, and whenever that gunk is there, my breath smells like death. It’s not just when I’m coming down with a cold, either; it’s happening all the time. Anyone know what's going on? Could it be sinus issues?

It’s highly probable we're looking at sinus issues—given how long this has been dragging on, I’d venture to guess it’s become a chronic situation.
I know from experience—and from talking to anyone who has dealt with sinus pressure for years—that it doesn't really matter whether you actually have a cold or not; the discomfort just lingers.
Personally, I found a rather straightforward way to manage it.
I basically "flush" my sinuses using seawater or some similar saline solution, then gargle to clear out whatever is left over, and honestly, I haven't had much trouble since.

I deal with the same crap, and honestly, anyone who’s struggled with sinuses for years knows the drill, whether you actually have a cold or not.
I found a super easy fix.
I just rinse my sinuses out with ocean water or some similar saline solution and gargle the rest away, so I don't have to deal with the headache anymore.

Whatever, man, I'm stuck in this mess, so I guess I don't have a choice, haha...

It's fine, though. I'm seeing an ENT anyway, so I'll let the doctor tell me what's actually going on and hopefully get some real relief. 🙂

And look, you don't necessarily need a specialized device—honestly, I don't even always rely on one myself. There are plenty of other liquids and solutions out there. For instance, you can actually whip something up at home using just some coarse salt and baking soda; then, you just load it into a large plastic syringe and rinse your nasal passages over the sink every morning and evening to clear everything out. You can also buy dedicated rinsing kits, though I’m not referring to those specific Malibu brands or anything quite like them.
But, if I may suggest—you really ought to go see a specialist first. 👍
