Which of these two should I grab? I’ve been digging through reviews for both, and honestly, it feels like the Samsung got a higher score mostly just because of the brand name. Some people claim the backlight is better, so I’m curious what you guys actually think... I don't want to end up buying the Samsung just because of the hype if the LG is actually the better pick.🙄

My take? LEDs are just a way to rob naive people blind.😁

I wouldn't go that far if you've actually seen modern LED TVs... I'd have picked one of those over any plasma or LCD in a heartbeat...

A buddy of mine is trying to talk me into a 26" Fujitsu just because of that 1920x1200 resolution—but honestly, who gives a damn about the diagonal when you've got color accuracy and contrast to worry about? He's rocking a Lenovo L220x himself, so take that with a grain of salt...

Look, even "LED" monitors are just LCDs. It's all TN panels; LED is just the backlight. Unlike monitors, most TV sets use IPS or PVA panels along with that LED lighting... it really comes down to your budget and what you actually need, but honestly, just aim for an IPS monitor. Skip the cheap junk and grab one of these:

Every single one here beats those TN panels, whether they have LED backlighting or not.

And if you check Best Buy, you can probably find an L220X for under $250.

Edit: If you’re feeling particularly ambitious and want something truly high-end, just get this one and stop worrying about it.Google Search 👍

And just so you know, one's actually HD, while the other has some idiotic resolution with only 900 pixels vertically 😁
