Yeah, no kidding. Sending a DM to every single moderator is just stupid. If Spin and the others don't want to moderate because they clearly aren't doing their "jobs," why is it so hard to just replace them? Understood; I realize that you two are considered "active," but personally, I rarely find myself browsing that specific PDF forum, and frankly, I have no idea how the moderation hierarchy actually functions. As far as I can tell, the two moderators mentioned are either completely absent or simply unresponsive. Is it truly impossible to rotate them out? (And no, I am certainly not volunteering my own services 🤣).

I suspect there are many users like me who don't frequent that particular platform often, and they end up feeling frustrated when they can't even get a response from a moderator. I hold no personal grudge against the mods in question—after all, I haven't had a single interaction or exchange with them—but the fact that people holding moderator status aren't actually performing any oversight feels somewhat alarming to me. My suggestion is simply to appoint new moderators to handle both that forum and the others 🙂

Look, I’m telling you, it’s unnecessary... both of us are active enough on this forum, keeping the tyranny at bay and all that (you see how they complain about us 😁), so there's no need for anyone else. Once the two of us head out (which we could do anytime, right, Grace Turner?), someone will definitely have to step up... until then, it stays like this

Why are you guys so terrified of getting some new moderators? Nobody actually suggested replacing any of you; we were just talking about adding more support to the current team. 🙂

Seriously, if Setra and Spin aren't acting as mods in practice, why are they still listed as such? At the very least, you should remove them to prevent any confusion regarding who is actually in charge, including myself. 😢

I don't always catch every PM right away either; sometimes the forum glitches and the notification pop-up doesn't show up, so I don't notice them for a while...

As for the stuff that got deleted, my bad. I wasn't really paying attention to specific post numbers, and I don't have the tools or the know-how to dig it up. If anyone here actually cares to find it, they probably can—I definitely can't.

I have read through everything you posted there, and frankly, I don't even know which moderator you're talking about—since I don't even hang out in the automotive forums—but the guy is a total sweetheart and has a genuinely fantastic sense of humor; his responses are absolutely full of wit and charm, and if you're too stubborn and narrow-minded to actually feel that, then you aren't just being difficult, you're being completely heartless.
