Back when I was a teenager, I used to dream about seeing something like this in theaters. Basically, like those interactive comics or novels where you pick the ending.
If they nail the execution, it’ll be such a cool experience. It’ll be fun for the viewer talking to the characters on screen, and just as much fun for everyone sitting nearby.
Really hoping this hits American theaters soon.

That sounds quite interesting... I would actually love to see some more like those!

I don't know, I feel like it just ends up distracting people from the actual quality of the movie itself🤷
just like how 3D used to be☕

For instance, I’d just take control of the protagonist and order him to surrender to the killer or commit suicide within the first five minutes... and then the movie is over.😁
And what are we supposed to do then?

So, what's the plan then?

It seems pretty obvious from the trailer that they're just giving you pre-packaged answers.
You’ll have to wait a bit for the level of interaction I’m looking for.

We could honestly just turn all these movie theaters into live stages—it would be much better if the audience could actually yell at the actors in real-time, kind of like that vibe you get in a production of Hamlet.

Picture this: a high-tension scene playing out in a dead-silent movie theater. Suddenly, some guy's phone starts blaring—it’s obnoxious. And everyone just assumes he’s the one in charge now, like he’s supposed to "suggest" how the plot should unfold. All at once, the entire audience starts shouting their own demands at him. "Do this!" "No, do that!"
He picks one direction, sure, but the rest of the crowd? They aren't buying it. They’re pissed. People start hurling insults his way—total vitriol. Then, as soon as the credits roll and he steps out into the lobby, a mob of disgruntled viewers is just waiting for him to catch them off guard... and things get physical.
😂

He picks one option, but most people are still unhappy. They start bringing up his mother. Then, after the credits roll, a crowd of angry viewers waits outside just to jump him.
😂

It would actually be pretty fun if I just called a friend over to mess with everyone. 😁 We could act out our own horror movie right in front of the room. There are tons of ways to make that happen.

Video games are migrating to movie theaters... just another step toward numbing those already smoothed-over brain folds that have long since lost their sense of purpose.

I assume you've heard of having fun?
Not every movie needs to be a tragedy.

Not every single movie needs to be a cinematic masterpiece worthy of a Pulitzer.

Ha! Well, even Chaplin was considered entertaining... and he was black-and-white and silent.🙂
Everything is just going to hell—technical progress is ruining everything.

I’ve gotta say, I actually dig those bargain-bin slashers produced just to capitalize on the whole 3D gimmick. You know the ones—those low-budget, no-name productions that feel like they were filmed in someone's backyard just to see if they could make the blood pop off the screen.
