Need help with Granuflex

When using Granuflex, how long does it typically take for a superficial wound—roughly 1x1cm in size—to fully heal?

As an aside, I have been using this dressing for 11 days now. I swapped it out for a third one just the day before yesterday, following my doctor's advice that each piece could stay on for 4 to 5 days—or even up to a week if there is no leakage (which there isn't). However, the wound still hasn't closed. I can see some progress, but I am honestly at a loss as to how much longer this process will take.

I'm no doctor, but I've dealt with this enough to know a thing or two.
It all depends on several factors: depth, whether you're diabetic, what actually caused the injury, and so on.
You might want to try Dermazin ointment; it contains silver ions which help speed up the healing process.
p.s. If the wound is from radiation therapy, skip the Dermazin.

To is the short version of it: I’m not diabetic, and the wound isn't particularly deep. The issue stems from a bout of DVT in my lower leg, which has left me with lingering circulation problems—essentially, the blood just doesn't flow quite right anymore. It’s creating some sort of pooling effect (I believe the clinical term is venous insufficiency, though I'm just recalling this off the top of my head). Because of that, my leg looks dark and discolored in that area. Apparently, the "proper" fix would be surgical intervention, but about a month ago, a small scab—roughly 1x1 cm—formed. Now, if I could just stay stationary, I might have a chance, but the moment I get home from work, the scab just pops open and starts bleeding again. My doctor prescribed Granuflex to deal with it, but it simply refuses to heal. I was wondering if anyone knows how long this process typically takes...
