I’m seeing some actual progress here. It feels like leadership is finally stepping up to deal with the people poisoning this community—those shameless, dishonest trolls. I honestly appreciate how Mandragora is handling the "cleanup" over on the alternative board; it’s giving that PDF some much-needed breathing room. It was about time we barred those clueless types from accessing the site and sent them off to wander the deeper reaches of the internet where they belong. 🙂
I also have to say, I dig how ZgSash manages the banned users and appeals corner. Instead of just slamming threads shut and handing out bans like candy, they actually bother to meet people with logic and arguments. It shows they aren't ashamed of their calls; they actually stand by them. 👍 The thing is, the loudest voices in that corner usually lack the backbone to admit when they're wrong—they'll lie straight to your face—but at least there's no impression that anyone is being kicked out without cause. They get dismantled with facts, not just a blunt instrument. 🙂
There’s still plenty of work to be done, but you’re definitely heading in the right direction. 👍

I have to say, I completely agree—the progress being made here is undeniable, and you can feel it across the entire community.
Truth be told, and God knows it, there are certain moderators who haven't quite earned their stripes yet (some might even call it a cushy government job 🤣), but I truly believe everything will eventually settle into its rightful place.
If my memory serves me right, just under a year ago, I sat down and wrote an open letter to this forum, fueled by nothing but bitterness toward the leadership at the time; however, looking at how far we've come, I am more than happy to retract those words.
Let’s just keep this momentum going......

Since a few folks around here seem to be stuck in a permanent state of PMS—and since their specific threads have been locked tight—I figured I would just drop my thoughts right here.

In my view, ZgSash absolutely needs to stay on as an admin, simply because they are finally someone actually putting in the work around here, and doing it quite effectively at that.
Now, I’m not looking to get labeled with some unflattering nickname, nor am I trying to step into anyone's line of fire, especially since I don't exactly see eye-to-eye with most of the moderation team. However, there is no denying that ZgSash and Tyndall have brought a much-needed sense of order to this forum and to the mod team itself.
All credit goes to the new leadership for turning things around!
Amen!

Also, I really appreciate how ZgSash handles the ban corner and user appeals. They actually try to address complaints with logic and facts instead of just shutting down threads and handing out bans blindly. It shows they aren't afraid of their own decisions and actually stand by them. 👍 Plus, those users who scream the loudest in the appeal section usually can't admit when they're wrong—they'll lie right to your face—but at least it doesn't feel like someone is being kicked off the site for no reason. They're being met with solid arguments instead. 🙂

It’s honestly noticeable how much better things have become compared to how the admins used to run this place.
The mods are actually getting involved and getting things done. 😎 😵
**In short, I'm a huge fan of how ZgSash communicates and manages user grievances, whether it's through PŽK, the ban corner, or the complaint book. Everything is systematic, timely, polite, and efficient, rather than being arrogant or condescending.** 👍

Both ZgSash and Tyndall have brought much-needed order back to the forum and the moderation team.

Kudos to the new leadership!
Amen!

First bolded point—absolutely agree. 👍
I’m pleasantly surprised. 🙂 Also, hats off to the new leadership
for everything they've shown us :klap: I hope it stays this way.
Same here, amen. 😁
