And now live, via video link, from Cleveland... Ivo Sanders! 🀣

Lino Červarβ€”honestly, the greatest coach the world has ever seen! Thanks for yet another magnificent win you’ve handed to us... we ungrateful Americans.

edit : here, he's still sitting at the top with a 15.8 average... honestly, such a rough performance from a keeper.β˜•

Hmm, sorry... I think I just confused myself. Today is definitely not my day. I can't even remember who I was originally thinking of... gosh.😒

I’m just messing with the people who are being overly critical here... 😁

We aren't exactly playing out of our minds, but other national teams are struggling too, and we've seen plenty of upsets. For example, the Spaniards play x against the Frenchmen, then the Poles crush the Spaniards, and then the Frenchmen beat the Poles. So far, nobody has proven they're a clear favorite.

If we keep playing the way we did today, we have a shot at gold... But honestly, I expect both semifinals to be decided by just a goal or two. It'll be hard for any of the remaining four teams to claim they're guaranteed the gold, though in my eyes, the Frenchmen are slightly ahead of the pack...

πŸ™‚

What I was trying to say in that other post is that I’m sick of people acting like Červar is some kind of saintβ€”just like I was sick of everyone worshipping him a few days ago. Basically, I’m fed up with every single thread turning into a debate about Linolad, where you all split into "Linoljupac" fans and everyone else, fighting day and night instead of actually talking about the game.πŸ™‚
I try to talk about handball, and then random Pear types and the rest just label me part of some "anti Lino group" or a non-American who doesn't appreciate success.🀣 🀣

Honestly, I don't give a damn about the Pears, the Linolad fans, or the anti-Lino crowd.🀷

Your old post is fine, but I wasn't quoting that oneβ€”I was talking about the one where you said the offense is aimless. So, I'm asking: who else in this tournament has played with any actual vision if not the national team, which has their best stats ever? And it's not like our opponents were just SJ, Ireland, or Chile.😁 That's really it.

Everything else is garbage.😍

I generally try to avoid making sweeping claims like "they’re terrible, we’ll crush them," but after watching them go up against the Mexicans, Iceland, and Norway, I have to say they didn't leave much of an impression on me.
If the referees hadn't robbed them, those crumbling Mexicans might have actually stood a chance; meanwhile, Iceland absolutely ran circles around them, and their win over Norway was nothing more than a fluke.
They faced two heavy hittersβ€”ourselves and Icelandβ€”and they folded under the pressure like a cheap lawn chair.
What we saw today? That felt more like a routine victory than anything else.

I couldn't agree more...

But honestly, it also looked to me like they were completely rattled. It seemed as though they weren't mentally prepared at all, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's just how the Danes operate.😁

It felt like they were shaken up too. Mentally unprepared. I doubt those were actually Danes.😁

Kljun put it perfectly on airβ€”describing someone completely terrified.😁

Yeah, even playing with a man advantage today didn't help our wing play at all... it was just flat. If we actually had our full rotation working, maybe we would've put on a decent show, but luckily the rest of the guys stepped up. Buntic couldn't seem to find his rhythm, and Balić just seemed to get more and more inspired as the game dragged on...

We'll see how much strength we have left. Our momentum is dragging in a way that’s honestly pretty worrying... though I am glad we're facing the Americans next.

Thank goodness we’re playing in the second group; at least that gives us some leverage to decide exactly who we want to face.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

You’ve completely lost it.πŸ™πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜
