Why bother arguing when you clearly don't get it or care anyway?

Just nod along, I guess.

I suppose thatโ€™s why youโ€™re here, Mr. Presidentโ€”to explain things to the clueless.๐Ÿ™„

frozentiger6 I can't even begin to process this. It's honestly ridiculous.
So, whoโ€™s actually pulling the weight here? Is it Mike or Dennis?

Both were supposed to be a part of it, but then they go and pull the rug out from under us and cancel the dance at the last minute!โ˜•

P.S. My bad, got kicked from the scene earlier ๐Ÿคฎ

I'll crush them

Whatever, as long as some guy with an axe can carry the team, maybe we'll actually pull it off tomorrow

Itโ€™ll probably hit the torrent sites too, they're just running a little behind schedule

Iโ€™m not sure how much of this was calculated, but you have to admitโ€”the Americans definitely weren't prepping specifically for Buntic at the NCAA tournament. They were probably looking right at Kopljar instead.

Mission accomplished.๐Ÿ‘‹Nice move, Linus.๐Ÿ‘‹ ๐Ÿคฃ

Thereโ€™s an old saying: stay humble in victory and don't let defeat crush you.
Just as much as I hated seeing people tear Cervar apart whenever we had a rough game, I think we need to avoid getting carried away with the euphoria now. If we start acting like we're invincible after one good win, the critics will be right back at it the second we stumble again.

As far as I'm concerned, they could easily be the 4th seedโ€”they've already proven they have what it takes.
But am I crazy, or did it sound like Linus was practically losing his mind toward the end? Right after the buzzer, he seemed to be shouting something along the lines of "screw you all"โ€”likely directed at anyone working against him.๐Ÿ˜

On a different note, how is this possible? It's the exact same coach and the exact same roster, yet the play is incomparably better. Is it just a massive boost in motivation, or is there something else going on? There's no way these players suddenly mastered a whole new playbook overnight.

Way to go, we finally have a real game on our hands. Mike Tribati is absolutely killing it right now ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™, and honestly, Buntic is looking pretty solid too ๐Ÿ˜

I mean, at this point, theyโ€™ll probably just put Kopljar in for the semifinals to let Buntic get some rest for the big championship game. Then they can just steamroll the French team by ten points and call it a day โ˜•

Semifinals start at 2:00 PM!

Are those Americans out of their minds?

Honestly, hats off to the guys... Iโ€™m starting to get this feeling that they only play poorly because they just can't be bothered to go all out against Icelanders, Norwegians, and those typesโ€”but seeing them play like this, I guess that little luxury is totally justified. ๐Ÿ™‚
They just need to hold up physically and not let it turn into some gritty, bruising matchup against those heavy hitters in the finals, and we'll have another trophy in the bag.
Of course, there's no reason to be disappointed if things don't pan out. To me, the important thing is that they've proven once again that they play the most beautiful and imaginative handball on the planet, and
that's exactly why people love them...

btw, our handball players are seriously great guys, every single one of themโ€”I don't recall any of our other teams being quite that likable.

How on earth did they mess up the semifinal schedule this badly? And don't even get me started on the fifth-place matchโ€”Denmark and Spain are playing at like 11:30 AM.

I mean, if those folks from Austria decide to swing by to take a look... they aren't exactly rushing out on a Saturday afternoon or evening to catch a handball game. No wayโ€”theyโ€™re much more likely to be heading over to Marian Street for a quick coffee or something similar... and you know how it goes...

Anyway, regarding that two-minute penaltyโ€”you don't get a yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct, which is basically what simulation is...

Honestly, huge props to the guys. That was an absolute grind of a game, and frankly, our performance in the league this season has been way better than I ever expected.

And look, Lin, Iโ€™m not exactly his biggest fan, but hey, you can't argue with the scoreboard. Heโ€™s getting results, and thatโ€™s what matters.

Melissa Price6 said:They just announced on ABC that they won't have the schedule ready until tomorrow.

They mentioned schedules only shift if a bigger network puts in a request or whatever... but honestly, I doubt they'll do more than swap those two semifinal games.

So you're having a hard time again, just because America won? I guess if that bothers you, so be it. America is the world champion.

They're broadcasting the combo from Aspen in the afternoon.image
