Man, when I think back to that Spanish roster... you had guys like Baruffet, Guijosa, Masip, Dushebajev, Urdangarin, Ortega, Šepkin... and then the replacements like Mariano Ortega, Lozano, Garralda, O'Callahan, and the rest. Good grief, what a squad they were, considering they didn't win a single thing. Just a massive waste of talent.

Oh, absolutely. That Danish squad was something else... just a flawless lineup with perfect scorers coming off the wings. You had Stryker and Christiansen out there, Boldsen orchestrating everything from the perimeter, and Michael Knudsen was easily one of the top pivots in the world. I’m right there with you on that one.

Look, get this straight: I hated those guys from the bottom of my soul... every single one of them was a Barcin player... every last one... and now? I remember telling you that Dušebajev was the absolute GOAT, but I could never wrap my head around how he did it... same goes for Sepkin... and man, I absolutely loathed that "golden boy" of handball and that Spanish Prince from the bottom of my soul... honestly, I’m still not over that betrayal by pakin😁..
It’s one thing when you’re older and can actually look at stuff with a bit of perspective... back then, I hated Barca even more than I hated the Yankees
When I watch old game tapes now, everything looks different... but man, I love looking back on those kid years, stuffing our pockets with ice, throwing coins and lighters just to make sure these guys couldn't even get warmed up🤣

Nowadays, Nekić would probably be banned from the sport for life, and even Svensson would be in massive trouble because of that jungle mess

There’s only one Tzar... though, personally, I think Pero was the best... actually, better than Balić... I always had weird taste, and I guess I still do... applies to women and cars, too😍

I had the chance to chat with Dušebajev a few times... it was impossible to stay serious when he’d give you those intense Mongolian eyes, even when we were discussing some supposed tragedy or whatever

You really gave me a good laugh with that bit about the pakin betrayal...

Sepkin was just okay... never really blew me away...

And Inaki was a much better human being than he ever was a player...
