Having trouble picking out a new monitor!

I’m actually picking this up for my sister, not myself!

So, her setup has an integrated motherboard with a VGA output. Which of these monitors would work smoothly with that "graphics card," and which one is probably the "better" choice? It’s not for gaming or anything—she just needs it for browsing the web, listening to music, watching movies or shows, and doing some typing/schoolwork!

Just to reiterate, she’s using an integrated motherboard (I think it's Intel, if I recall correctly) and the output is VGA, obviously 😢.

I currently have a 22" Apple monitor at my office, running off integrated graphics, and I find the picture quality to be perfectly acceptable... naturally, there is a noticeable difference when comparing it to the high-end Apple model I keep at home, but it gets the job done just fine. As for those Sony displays, I can't really offer much of an opinion based on my experience.

edit: My only reservation is if she intends to spend a significant amount of time writing; perhaps a 22" screen with a 1680*1050 resolution might be more suitable for her needs. Personally, I've tested a 23" widescreen with a 1900 resolution, and I found it to be somewhat overwhelming for standard daily tasks...
but then again, everyone has their own preference.

You aren't going to see any real difference in picture quality on basic TN models. They all buy their panels from the same massive factories that have huge production capacities but zero quality control.

If I were picking from this list, I’d go with the 22-inch Sony, mostly just because of the size since the price gap is basically nonexistent. You won't run into any issues with the integrated graphics or the VGA output. Even if a monitor lacks a VGA port, you can always grab an adapter to get the job done.
