Why is it that if I point out how ridiculous it is—like having to physically walk into a Chase branch just to cancel a savings account that you supposedly "activated" through online banking—my post gets nuked and I get banned?

Is it possible that some moderator actually works at one of these big banks and they’re just protecting their own? People talk about other major institutions too, so why just me?

Is this supposed to be a free forum for discussion, or are there certain topics that are strictly off-limits?

And honestly, this is a consumer rights issue. If they move my post over to the finance section, they'll probably just delete it anyway.

There’s probably already a hundred threads covering this exact same thing, yet here you are, starting yet another one. If you’re actually running into trouble, why not just head down to Chase and ask them directly? We aren't exactly mind readers.

Is it possible a moderator works at that bank or something, and they're just protecting their own? People talk about other banks too.

Is this actually a free forum, or are there certain things we aren't allowed to mention?

And yeah, this falls under legal/finance. If the post gets moved to the business section, it'll just get nuked anyway.

It's probably because you were spamming the business section—you already started three different threads with three different titles. 🙄
There's a subforum for requests, messages, and feedback where you can ask the moderators whatever you want.

Nobody over at the Federal Reserve gets banned just because they’re venting about some bank’s shady decisions or their ridiculous procedures... but if you start spamming, trolling, or just flat-out refusing to follow the rules, then yeah, you're getting nuked from orbit.

No one else on the Federal Reserve boards has a partial ban except for you, and as for your little clones? They’re looking at permanent bans from this forum, mark my words. I already told you once and I'm telling you again: I am not lifting this ban, and that’s final.
